Bisco's Collar

How does bisco's collar work/trigger? Do you have to slay the minion that drops the loot in order for bisco's to affect it or can it just be anyone in the group?

Asking because im an aurabot and i rarely slay the minions, but if i would wield bisco's would it still affect the loot if its my party member that kills the minion?

All IIQ/IIR effects work if you, your totems, mines, traps, or minions kill a monster. They don't work if a party member kills something.
