Killing Enslaver does not drop loot or update atlas properly

Desert of Dementia arena.
Thicket map.
Beating the Enslaver through both phases, after elder absorbs him, there are no item drops.
Atlas also does not update either.
Critical as this would prevent elder from spawning ever again...

I had killed him once more before, but before the Elder absorbed him completely, I accidentally clicked on the portal, putting me back in Thicket map. After reentering, he finished absorbing him and no loot dropped. Atlas didn't update either, so I thought I had bugged it.

Rerunning another Thicket map, this happens.
In both cases I do not get the challenge update either... previous arena was some circular arena with volcano like outskirts.
It was my last Thicket map so I cannot redo it again for the time being.

i had the same issue with him in a strand map. killed his first stage, he got absorbed and then nothing happened.

Same experience here in a castle ruin map.

Still happening as of today, killed The Enslaver first stage, elder absorbs, boss gone, no loot.

additional info: switched character before entering elder room (initiated elder absorbing in Grotto map on first character, switched to second character before entering the Desert of Dementia)



EDIT: Ran a new grotto map, stayed on same character the whole time, elder opened a different zone called Wastes of Lunacy, this time it did give me kill/loot.

EDIT2: Ran a different elder guardian this time, same thing happened again. I believe the issue lies within switching characters before entering the elder guardian boss room
