I'm Still stuck on that level and cant proceed. Already verified the cache integrity.

Me too. I force-reloaded the zone and it's still happening. Help!

I don't see any quests on your quest tracker (right side of screen, under minimap). Have you talked to the NPCs in town? Followed their quests?
You need to complete a few other quests first, before you can reach the Chamber of Sins Level 2. Code warrior

That looks very much like a texture missing or corrupted bug. Try running packcheck or verify local files in steam, and see if that helps. Otherwise, reboot and try again, that may also help.

No what you need to do is go to the crypt and kill maligaro to get the map. After that, you're able to open the map in chamber of sins (the middle area), do the map, talk to silk, and that purple barrier will disappear. It's a bit weird because it doesn't tell you outright that you need to get the map, but you have to do that to get to level 2.

Thanks Rhys and others. Yeah I would have expected some kind of indication that it's blocked due to a quest not being fulfilled - and the way it's rendered makes it looks like a graphical glitch which doesn't help.
I had talked to all NPCs in town. Silk is absent but there really isn't anything that tells me where he is, just that there's this other "Maligaro" quest. Maybe an enhancement to user experience is warranted? EDIT: I have only played through Act 7 once before (last league) so I'm still a noob when it comes to the new content. It is weird though. There used to be spider web blocking the entrance IIRC. Now it looks as it would be a magic barrier but the graphics crapped on my computer also and made it look like a graphic bug. Not sure whether this is an actual graphic bug or it was ggg intention to replace it with a purple magical barrier.
Either way, the barrier doesn't show up properly (very similar to the first picture in this topic), even if you have the game set on max details. |
