Cannot Complete "Queen of the Sands"

Use the Bottled Storm to clear the sandstorm in the Vastiri Desert.

I went, with the bottle, and click on the chest. A fight occurred similar to the first fight to get the storm blade. After the (last?) wave with the larger monsters, no more monsters spawn, no quest text update, no one in town has anything new.

The bottled Storm is gone from my Inventory. I created a new instance of the desert, re did everything (even though the bottled storm is gone, i could activate the chest), and same result, no update to quest.

So.. the quest gave me no message.. but I just needed to go to the desert. -_-

Same here, with the difference that my Bottle Storms are still in my inventory, no matter how often I do the quest (or try to do it). Talking to Sin does not change anything.

Solved.

After you beat the bug up for a while in the first section, you then need to kite it's tail along a narrow walkway that opens up, into a second arena where you fight again.

It took me a long time thinking it was bugged, no pun intended, to notice the walkway. It is super unobvious, and doesn't get a "doorway" highlight or anything.
