The tale about Duelist and his dream

Duelist was slept. To be clear, he was exactly the dream itself.

Such an irony for a man who killed i.e. the Beast.

In this dream he was in the best place in Wraeclast, Oriath and all of worlds, shaped by old mad sea captain. This world was full of wood constructions above the endless void, accompanied by a high amount of purple spider-like creations. Spiders were the main reason why Duelist choose this world and it's mistress. From his childhood and up to his glorious career in Arena of Theopolis, he loved anything related to spiders, mighty perfect eight-leg creations. If God created the world with reason, that reason were certainly spiders.

So some day Duelist found himself dating Chayula. "Who Dreamt".

Duelist realized that he don't want to be with humans anymore just after killing Kitava. If anything going wrong in Wraeclast, that was because of human sins. Ondar betrayed Chitus, Dialla betrayed Victario, and for ultimate, Sin betrayed his own brothers in godhood just because Kalandra loved his brother more than him, so he decided to destroy Order which are loved by Innocence.

Duelist needed to find new world and new companion.

There was Arakaali, but Duelist was not enough edgy to resurrect her and too scared of her practice of consuming her husbands.

And he looked upon the Void.

The Shaper's creations was useless. Shaper hate humans, and filled his worlds with mindless creatures. The Shaper himself was too powerful to be actually killed even with all power of Virtue Gems.

Worlds of Beyond was really horrific. Abaxoth realm was actually least terrible of them all. There was unspeakable worlds of Beyond Lords, Gilgamesh, Cleevabog and Lydoet. It was really lucky for Wraeclast that these lords didn't invaded it. Lord Gilgamesh used powerful gold hooves made from sacred goat, which made even earth itself deadly to anyone living. He shake the earth with a mighty axe and nullified reality itself with ring of flames. He was demigod with power beyond of imagination of every exile. He have ability to reave the ghosts, refilling his spirit protection instantly, which was long lost magic. Lord Cleevabog used a high amount of thrusting swords as a weapon, crafted with forbidden Kalandra's thaumaturgical orbs, and Lord Lydoet was a living manifestation of terror, which cannot be spoken.

Then Duelist remember about Chayula, Who Dreamt. She appears to him two or three times from the breach while he travelled across Wraeclast. Duelist found that she is actually nice girl, in comparision to Arakaali, Queen Atziri or Nessa. And she loves spiders, such a perfection. Two years in a line duelist travelled from breach to breach, hunting spiders to get enough splinters to enter Chayula's Domain.

He offered his sould, and, to be sure, his Soul Taker. He said that Chayula is able to deal real devastation with her Cyclone, but insufficient mana causes defeats from Virtue Gem-imbued exiles sometimes. He was surprised that she agreed.

After all, Duelist became a god. He ascended through admiration of survivors of exiles and Kitava's feast.

Then they were always together. Sin was killed and essence of the Gods consumed by him was consumed by Duelist instead. He hopes that these power is enough to restore old magic of ghost reaving. Without this kind of magic it is impossible to make thaumaturgical shield useful.

Malachai, Thaumaturge Laureate to the Empire, stopped observing of a world, created by another mortal through endless power of Nightmare. He found it interesting how this fragile creature made a dream within a dream. Is was simply not enough for him to live in dream world when he, exiled from Oriath, became a saviour of humanity and slew the Gods themselves (Malachai even made an avatar and enter the dream, first as himself and then as Sin to learn exile better, and for another time triumph over Purity and damned Voll). He even pierced the Nightmare to reach another dream, created by Doryano a long time ago for A'Alai's sister.

It was an interesting specimen.

Malachai looked again to a former human who, accompanied by chaos sorceress, seek for good skull (he found three of eight) for another thaumaturgical artefact in endless forest full of spiders...
