My attempt to make a poison build using Dark pact with high single target damage. Pros: -Can do shaper and all guardians (chimera is hard though) -high damage scaling -build can be done cheap (with a 5L) -many layers to scale the poison damage with Cons: -Difficult to get the required dexterity for the armour -becomes expensive when doing end-game content -requires good timing and uses several skills -not very beginner friendly How it Works:

Short summary: -The build summons high life skeletons, then casts dark pact which chains between the skeletons and inflicts massive DoT through poison stacks. Detailed Explanation: 1) Summon Skeleton is supported by a helm with +2 minions and empower, potentially reaching level 26. With minion life nodes on the tree and jewels, the Skeletons achieve roughly 9500 hp. Using the jewel 'From Dust', 3 skeletons are summoned at once instead of 1, but there is a 1 second cooldown (which isnt even noticeable). 2) The Consuming Dark provides 60% chance to poison (mine is legacy, so it looks different). Dendrobate provides a free Lesser Poison support (40% chance to poison) so that we always poison every hit. This armour also massively boosts both poison duration and poison damage. 3) Dark pact is supported by DoT/ailment modifiers as well as Chain. Since we do not rely on the hit damage so much, The 'less damage with hits' modifier has no effect while greatly boosting our poison stacking. 4) Spell totem linked with wither is used for a large damage boost against bosses. 5) Temporal chains is boosted by enhance and blasphemy to slow enemies dramatically. TC also causes poison stacks to last longer. 6) Vulnerability is best applied using the corrupted gloves, however you can also use a blasphemy setup. Note - do not get minion instability, this kills the skeletons early which can lead to you not having enough minions out to chain properly. The damage bonus from MI is insignificant. There are two main ways to play the build 1) Full hybrid

Requires the corrupted vulnerability gloves. Also uses discipline. This method provides the highest health-pool and works in tandem with the Occultist Recharge node. 2) Semi-Hybrid with MoM

Lower ES pool, however it has a large mana pool and does not require Discipline Aura. This method frees up a gem slot if needed and is very close, if not on par in defence to full hybrid.
Example of how the Damage works:

-Lets say you do 10k DoT with one poison.
-That poison lasts for 5 seconds, meaning one poison deals 50k damage total. -Dark pact chains 4 times (which means 5 hits). -5 hits from one dark pact is equivalent to 250k damage -by casting dark pact 4 times, and assuming you have 3 skeletons up, you would deal 1 million damage providing that all the chains hit the same target. -With spell totem/wither stacks, this damage is scaled even further. - Provides an additional link, which gives the necessary 40% chance to poison. Also provides large boost to poison damage. If using a 5l, drop chain. - must be +2 minion helm. Look for high ES as well as some resists/dexterity - grab the usual life/resists, as well as +dexterity and movement speed. - Best gloves which are also very common. Work on getting the corrupted mod for vulnerability on hit. Temp chains can also work. - life, resists, and some ES - Provides 60% chance to poison and is required for 100% poison chance. - large boost to chaos/poison damage. - Essence craft with Essence of Envy. Aim for at least one resist with life and then craft some ES on top. - try to get needed resists/ dexterity as well as life and ES. Path of Building link:

Sick meme dude. This is a really cruel joke you're playing. Tricking people into using a build that uses the chain gem. What the F is wrong with you my dude? Why would you deliberately make a less good version of self cast DP Zerker? Did you study memeology at your local community college or do you meme as a hobby? You even have a video showing people how horribly bad your build is and you're presenting it like it's a viable option in any capacity? That's just sick and cruel. You don't know who's going to stumble on your post and see this build and waste their time clearing a map slower than the reverse attack speed leap slam build where you actually travel back in time by the time the leap lands. This is disgusting. I don't know why GGG doesn't have moderates for this sort of thing. You think you can just troll post a build here and trick people into playing it? I wont lie, there certainly are faster clearing builds. But this one scales damage very well for excellent single target DPS. I enjoy the way it plays out.
