Female armour!!!
Now i havent played POE for too long but one major flaw i see is that the armour always looks super masculine.. Not sure about the rest of the community but seeing some curves couldn't hurt xD
Everything that's shown as a preview in shop - Male Everything in game, Clunky and masculine! Having Female attire would not only make the game more believable but would allow for a more aesthetically pleasing character. Last bumped on Sep 23, 2017, 4:15:03 AM

Armor is armor.
There is no such thing as male armor and female armor. If the armor protects the wearer from getting their lung pierced, then it's a good piece of armor. What u want is female character costumes like metal bikinis and shyt. Just to clarify, I'm not against the notion, but Males should be allowed to wear those too. Since most of the armour is plateish in the game..
Hummmm lets not go there. Armour looks like it does due to practical reasons, doesn't have anything to do with gender. You don't have boob "protusions" on real female platmail... trust me you just don't... This is as close as you get... Compromise: colour and adornments are fine though.
Indeed, a suit of plate armor isn't skin-tight, there's heavy padding under it and enough room for boobs so there's no need for special female armor. Unless it's ceremonial, I suppose, and you generally don't wear that into combat.
There are also two reasons boob domes would be impractical, if you got those you can't have a ridge down the center of it which gives your armor slopes, and slopes are very important. The other thing is that the V between them would likely cave your sternum in under a heavy frontal hit. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Here's some fact check about female armor:
https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/forum/index.php?threads/fact-check-female-armor-history-dangers-u-s-army.21929/ " Good thing PoE uses armor that makes sense here ImO. |

I tend to agree with the OP, i got many armor skin, but i never user it on my Femal char.
It just look to masculine for me. in fact i didn't bought mtx for female char. I would have liked they could do mtx based on ascendancy class. |

" exactly. (and it would be men's armour and women's armour. armour itself is a THING and has no sex) and boobs are squashed flat by armour btw, armour with exaggerated breast bulges like in most rpgs never existed in reality since I have no hope for significant game design improvements in this game I am officially done with Path of Exile. done for good Last edited by LMTR14 on Aug 25, 2017, 8:38:23 AM

" Kinda missing the point here aren't you? The game has multiple types of armour correct? metal chain plate cloth leather silk? so why cant some of them have the appearance that fits a female model? I mean the game designers clearly gave some of the characters Boobs and ass and then ruined their hard work by adding clunky garments. Is it silly to have some armour that fits the body type they created? There is a lot of armour in this game that just dont make sense and look as flattering as a paper bag.. Having the devs create equipment that fits the models is the least we should be asking for in a game like this... its like having a dagger the same size as a longsword or claymore it just doesn't make sense to have a female look like a dude and vice versa. It should be about choice and so far POE isn't doing enough in that respect, loving the game so far but they should be making more appealing armour for both genders and maybe some genderless equip too.. Plate/ chainmail is a prime example but silk/leather/cloth are fabrics that could be fitted better, there could also be types that have multiple materials that again could make a more aesthetically pleasing piece of equipment.
Also want to add that everyone here who has disagreed with the statement seems to do so on the premise of Plate armour.. Please dont limit your imagination of what armour is.. there has been many variations of armour through out time and its common to see more light/flexible armour that is/has been fitted. Plate armour was also fitted and progressed in many different ways to become more flexible.

" Well, cloth, leather, scale and chain does mold to the body, just pick Scion instead of Witch and you'll see. However, plate armor should not do that, it does appear fitted differently but you can do that, it isn't all one piece, it has belts and straps used to tie it together and adjust. A big dagger that isn't cumbersome or a flame-spewing sword that won't ruin its tempering is a challenge in thaumaturgic engineering because they have potential advantages. A plate armor with boob domes is a conceptual level idiocy. Anyway, that's how a woman in functional plate armor looks, we're lucky none of the armors sport those overexaggerated Renaissance codpieces, because that would be really awkward.
