Flammability + Ignite (burning)
Does anybody know if I have to apply my Flammability curse before I apply my Ignite for them to take additional damage due to their lack of fire resistance?
Or is it OK if I apply the ignite debuff first and then apply the flammability curse? Hope that makes sense :< EDIT: just to clarify, i use explosive arrow build which revolves around casting EA like 10 times with my quill rain bow, then hitting them with lightning arrow (debuffs all enemies with -50% fire resist from EE passive) and then i debuff them with flammability curse for an additional -30% resist to fire this is my build i just wanna know if there is an point in casting the curse if an enemy is already burning thanks IGN: Xiandrii Timezone: London, GMT Last edited by xiandrii#5629 on Feb 25, 2013, 1:34:49 AM

Initial damage is increased with their reduced fire resist. Then the ignite damage goes through their fire resist again.
for example, you cast flammability and reduce their fire resist to -20% Your fireball does 100 damage, so that's 120 damage after the fire resist reduction. Ignite does 1/3 of the total damage per second, so 40 per second, and then it goes through fire resist again, meaning 40 x 1.2 = 48 damage per second. Does that answer your question? IGN: Iolar

Yes, if an enemy is already burning and you cast flammability, they will start burning for more damage.
But you're better off casting it before hand, since the ignite damage is based off of the initial hit, which will be increased by flammability as well. IGN: Iolar
