quest based points in 3.0

How many skill points are available in 3.0 as comparable to 2.x? are there more, less or the same amount? Also, do level 100 characters actually lose a bunch of points and have to do quests to get them back?!

Based what from what I seen that was datamined, if you kill all the bandits and get all the passive point rewards, it will amount to 24 passive points. Now if you pick one of the bandits, it will be 22 passive points.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

That's the same as before with 22 points correct?
PoB tells me you have one less passive in 3.0.

22 passive points and with siding one of the bandit rewards is the equivalence of 22 passive points and siding two bandits in different diffculties.


In 2.6, 24 passive points was the max amount you get if you killed all the bandits. Same here in 3.0 as well.

Act9 has two passive points and act 10 has three passive points. Unless that was changed or the datamine was inaccurate.
