Certain Keys not bindable

Im under Windows 10 running the Steam version of Path of Exile and i have a mouse that allows me to bind side buttons to certain keyboard actions (Razer Naga Hex V2).
I bound my side keys to F13-F24 so the side keys dont interfere with default keys from other applications. These keys are defined in the keyboard standard and Mac keyboards actually use F13-F15. Old IBM Keyboards had them as well.
Trying to bind them in Path of Exile however is not possible. The game wont even recognise the keystrokes when in the options menu. It would be nice if those were supported.
