[Trade] Ignoring Buyers/Sellers, any repercussions?
Is there any repercussion to ignoring pm's from people who want to buy/sell your items?
Like is it a reportable offense ingame or in poetrade if you constantly ignore people who whisper you without any sending them back any response? If they are reportable, what are some of the punishments for doing it? Last edited by BobHunter1#3612 on Apr 17, 2017, 4:22:42 AM Last bumped on Apr 22, 2017, 2:34:27 AM

No. Why the heck would that be punishable? You could be AFK for all they know.

I got the list full of ignored ppl.
As the data base is formed from tens of thousand of accounts dosen't matter if you ignore the rude part of it. |

" I wouldn't really think it's a reportable offense. If you think long term, then by not responding to peoples messages you might cause other people to think that that sort of behaviour is okay, which would lead to someone not responding to your message when you want to buy something. You might also contribute to the perception that some players seem to have; where talking to other players is a waste of time or where trading as a whole is a waste of time. Another possibility is you being /ignored by those people you don't respond to since they assume you're just being an ass or trying to manipulate prices. And that results in your then being unable to join a master rotation, or get the free challenge someone is offering, or being unable to purchase something from another player because at some point in the past they /ignored you and haven't felt the need to clear their list yet. You didn't bother giving any examples which leaves room for guessing.
I guess you are one of those people who pm others and offer something different than the listed price. I never respond to those people because I'm kinda tired of the "but it has been listed for this and this many weeks" yapping. People don't understand that when you update the price of a whole tab, it doesn't update the time listed in poe.trade. Another reason could be that you're looking to buy something listed for 1 alch or something very low and people simply can't be bothered to stop mapping because of such low trades, which I think is quite easy to understand. My advice; pm people with fresh listings and maybe not the lowest priced ones. Cheers. |

" " Thank you, this is what I was looking for. My issue is that sometimes I send unedited poetrade whispers for item 1 chaos or higher to players & they do not respond. And with these items not being overly low priced or easily substituted, sometimes after a few minutes I would do /whois & see them actively walking around to Hideout, High Gate, Dried Lake, or in some Maps, then I’d send again & still they would not respond. When I whisper to a player zoning in & out of areas & see "the character is not online", does the message eventually go to them once they zoned in an area? or do I need to resend the whisper? Also if I am being /ignored, what kind of message will I get after a whisper? Is it along the line of “the character is offline” or “you are being ignored by”? I understand the below 1 chaos sale & currencies exchange issue & didn’t mean to include that in this discussion. I do feel bad when I had to whisper several sellers for those currencies for 10 chaos deal at the same price & ended up having several invites & I always respond back to them if I’ve chosen other seller. " " I’ve read several complaint posts/threads about "price fixers" on poetrade who put prices below market value & never respond. I am wondering if there is any punishable actions done do these players on a regular basis by GGG or 3rd party poetrade to enhance trading experience of other players. |

" Another case that I forgot to mention is if someone was really bored & decide to mass spam pm's to many different currency traders & never actually accept their party invites (ignoring sellers), is there any repercussions to that except having half the currency trades put you on ignored? |
