wsplit/livesplit typical splits

I thought it might be cool to start using wsplit or livesplit for speed running and was wondering if there is a typical set of splits that people use. Usually the splits are either bosses/significant events in the storyline or at places where there is significant improvement in efficiency/speed.

Since poe doesnt have much of the latter, except getting specific skills like firestorm or something, I assume it'll be almost entirely bosses...

For now, I am only concerned with tracking splits up through A4 merc, since after that you stop doing storyline stuff and move to map progression, but im open to anything :P

im not aware of any generally agreed-upon splits but based on experience with short (1-2hr) races here's what i would recommend:

hailrake
brutus
merveil

fidelitas/weaver
fidelitas/weaver
vaal

enter sewers
give both items to dialla in solaris
piety
dominus

crystal veins waypoint
both dream waypoints (usually get both before killing daresso & kaom)
piety
malachai

you can define a lot more than this but these are generally what i pay attention to.
