[2.6] CI Elemental kinetic blast pathfinder

This build is for mapping and destroying breaches. It has very good leech, clear speed and can 1 hit entire packs. I run shaped mesa, strand, mud geyser and atoll. It works for Uber lab but it's not the best build out there for it.

Pros and cons:

Pros:
Very good clear speed
Super good leech
Can be done fairly cheap (under 1ex)
Decent single target with barrage, insane with kb where it can be used
Good ES
CI
Only uses unique helm and ammy. very easy to cap resists and get high es on gear

Cons:
Barrage can be an annoying skill
The damage is based on your weapon which can be confusing to find a good wand
No movement skills, aside from going over obstacles
Flask heavy build (lots of keyboard clicks)


Gear:

Required uniques:

Crown of eyes is important as it gives a good amount of damage. Eye of chayula is used in many builds for stun immunity.

You could alter the build to not use CoE and get more flat damage on wand instead of spell damage take away some tree nodes and get +2 barrage projectiles hubris circlet. +2 barrage on a CoE is insanely expensive. You could work something out to make it better single target like this.

Recommended uniques:

Vinktars gives a large amount of leech as well as flat damage to attacks.

Dying sun gives 2 extra projectiles, which will mean 3 from all the flask effect we have on the tree. Each KB does 4 explosions so that means 12 more explosions. On top of that, the explosions are AoE so dying sun will also make them bigger! Insane flask for this build. I'd say to get it before 6L unless you're trying to do bosses

Atziri's is obvious, adds ele as chaos and gives chaos leech! a staple for many builds.

Other flasks:

Diamond flask for more crits. The one I have is perfect, bleed immune and reduced charges used.
Quicksilver flask with 30% more movement speed. This is important since you will be running fast to move around. With flask effect on tree this flask will make you very fast. As for the other mod, I think you can get increased effect, less duration or flask charge on crit.

Wand:

You wand a wand with a good amount of spell damage (70 ish), 9%+ crit chance and lots of flat elemental damage. This one works perfectly fine for me, even without the crafted lightning mod. You can also get attack speed on it, especially for single target.
spell damage>9-10% crit>flat elemental>attack speed. Lightning is the best flat elemental to get.

The best prefixes in order:
Flat fire due to your gloves then you can get %fire suffix
Flat lightning
Spell damage% <- having the 1st 3 would be very nice
Ele damage with weapons
The rest suck, wed isn't very good either

Best suffixes in order:
Crit chance
Attack speed
Crit multiplier
%fire <- any 3 of the first 4 are good!
%lightning - still good from wrath aura, even better than fire if you use thunderfist
int - t1 roll would be 11% es which isn't bad
accuracy
resistances


Gloves:

Gloves crafted with hysteria essence. This will add 175-225 more flat fire damage. The rest isn't really important, if you can't find any with good es or resist etc don't worry about it because the other option is thundefist which doesn't have res/good es either.

Boots:

Literally anything with 30% movement speed and good ES. Resist is a bonus

Shield:

As high ES as you can get. Resist is just a bonus.

Belt:

Crystal belt or chain belt with ES and resists. WED is a bonus

Body:

High ES 5/6L. Res is a bonus. 6L isn't very important unless you're struggling with single target damage.

Rings:

Res>wed>flat damage. I really like the havoc whorl, 3 flat damages and a solid amount of resists. You could also craft %es on one if you have exalts to spare.

Must be in gloves: GMP - Increased crits/damage - WED - Kinetic blast

Herald of ice - curse on hit - assassins mark - ice bite - easiest way to gain power charges

Barrage - Added lightning - WED - Increased crit/damage - Elemental focus - Slower projectiles/faster attacks

Lightning warp - Faster casting - Less duration - Rapid decay - Literally just for going over ledges or whatever

You can also do OoS PCoC and faster casting, increased crits for bosses instead and put lightning warp unlinked in shield

Enlighten - Discipline - Wrath - if you don't have at least level 2 enlighten you can swap Wrath for Hearld of thunder until you can get your hands on one.

Summon ice golem - Anything

You put barrage in the 6L because it gains a lot more from it. While KB gains a lot from the large flat damage in the gloves. 5L Kb would barely be better if at all. While barrage in the gloves wouldn't be nearly as good.

I'm wearing steppan eard just because I didn't need any res on boots and they're cheap 30% speed 200+ es boots. Some of my gear like the chest is really bad because i already have 8k ES and don't see at as a priority to get much higher for maps.


KB single target strategy:

The best damage against bosses for this build is to lure the boss near a wall then spam kb on the wall. It will do insane damage right behind you. KB will hit the wall and shoot the explosion right behind you so there will be a bunch circles. I do this for shaped mesa and strand bosses. For mud geyser and atoll i just barrage, which works good too but can be kinda annoying because of the random pattern.

I'd also recommend trading harrier for point blank for a large boost to single target. It doesn't really mess with your kb damage since it's already so high and most of your damage comes from the explosions any way.

Leveling:
Level as an elemental bow character with storm cloud and wake of destruction boots. You can switch to wander once you can wear your wand (imbued wand is 59). Your damage will suck until you can wear Crown of Eyes (68)

Ascendancy:

We go pathfinder for the large boosts to flask use as well as, increased ele damage, ele status immunity, 8% reduced elemental damage taken. Flasks boosts are very nice for wand to run much faster and gain more help from dying sun and vinktars.
Nature's boon > Master alchemist > Nature's adreneline >
The last one is up to you, Master surgeon is better for bosses as it allows you to keep your flasks up more, but veteran bowyer is better for clearing as it gives elemental penetration and even more flask charges.

On the other hand, you could go raider. That would allow you to get tons of frenzy charge boosts as well as constant phasing and status immunity.

Personally I like pf much better in general, and especially for this build.

Improved a bit
I love playing your build. It clears dense maps really fast. The elemental breach domains are easy, but the bosses are a bit tough, so I swap for my Explosive Arrow character to kill them.

I'm glad that by the time I found your build, I had a wand in my stash that no one wanted to buy:

It's really great when I have an aura support with me: I benefit from Hatred and I am also able to use Herald of Ash.

I was also interested in trying some build with The Gull, and after checking the clear speed without Crown of Eyes, I'm glad I did it. Packs still die in one shot, and I have the shrine effects every now and then. Party members also liked it when I was leveling in dried lake.

I still don't have Dying Sun (and both this build and my EA build would benefit a lot from it), but I got a Skyforth that really helps this build: power charges are always up, even on bosses. I can also swap out of Eye of Chayula for something like Karui Charge when not running maps with breach/invasion/beyond/anarchy, but that never really happens.
