[3.0]PewPewPews DirtCheap Frost Blades build | Clear all maps on a budget | [4/4] Guardians down

this build is pretty good for taking down guardians.

very nice twosteps66. finally someone who is making good use of hyrri!

I just noticed how many "ailments" stats was added to claw nodes. With Poisonous Fangs and, let's say, Volkuur's Guidance we can do a decent poison damage now. Need to check it in Path of Building.

Since I've spend all my time on my firestorm guide I'll just leavfe this with an update:

- Frostblades is still very strong in 3.0!
- Build shouldn't change. Perhaps, we could use added cold damage now, as it's been buffed, but I'd say, we should probably stick with the same build
- I'm not sure if we should opt into poison however. From what I've seen, poison is only viable when you really invest everything into it. It is worthwhile to test though(and I'll most likely do so myself)
- Chill has been nerfed for some builds, possibly also for us, but we never really relied on chill so I'm not worried about that

This build look nice. I'm allways looking for something new for every new league. Dosen't feel better if i go with something i've played before.
And you manage to make something viable for end content with low budget, nice for a league start. Clear step by step so thank you for your work.

You wrote some additional information about this build and 3.0. I've checked the patch note but just a quick look, don't know if anything will hurt or not this build (beside what you have said just before ^^)

edit : you didn't mention anything in the step by step around witch skill we should use, should we go with our end game setup ASAP?

I will fully update this build for 3.0, even though it won't be immediately before release.

Firestorm look cool too, but i'm more hyped by this one. (Cold damage / no minion. Minion is a cool thing but most of the time i find it boring (every MinionMaster i did before... well not my stuff ^^)

Hope you can update this ASAP, i'll go for it. I like how this look. Hope the increase life's boss would not be an issue. what do you think about this ?

Well.. The guide is actually 3.0 ready.. already(even though it's not completely finished in the first place).

- The gems are staying the same. Perhaps we can change a gem for another, but this is working already. And nothing about them has changed
- The passive tree is almost the same. The only change is in our claw circle. There are poison nodes between the two other nodes. We do not need the nodes, so we'll be taking the other way around(which means we'll need to invest one extra point for the tree).

And boss health? Shouldn't be a problem.
Yes, we'll take longer to kill them, but this build can do that. You should check out some of the guardian kills. All the fights take around 4 minutes to finish. 4 minutes I'm able to play around their mechanics, their onslaught of attacks. Mobility is insanely important in 3.0, and we have plenty of it :)

I'm waiting for a tree planner to get their 3.0 version online and working. PoE planner hasn't been working for the past few hours sadly. If it doesn't in time, you can take the current leveling tree. Like I said, nothing changed for us :)

When I was fooling around in POB it looks like the gems are not optimal. A couple of the new ones and added cold are better options than what you currently have. Maybe even going damage on full life might be a better multiplier than some others figure you will be on full life the majority of the time with VP and no blood rage.

I've been looking at added cold especially as well. But those are just the datamined numbers. They could be nerfed before release!

For now, I'll stick with this setup. But feel free to try different gems :)
