How to get unique shield with +1 to level of socketed gems

Hi all

So I follow one build and get almost anything I need but have a serious problem now.

I need to know how to get (+1 to level socketed gems)on a unique shield which not have this parameter normally..
Please look at this build and open his current gear,then look at shield:

How I can get this parameter on unique shield?How he do this?

So we have Lycosidae shield which is unique Rawhide shield...Hes shield is corrupted dont know why..So how to get this stat on unique shield?

1.I can buy a unique shield with this parameter from catarina(because +1 to sockede gems) is Catarina signature mod? If yes,I mean its only way,I must have max level on her and then she sell uniques,and I must have luck until she sell a shield?

2.Or he somehow craft normal Rawhide Shield or he bought a magic rawhide with +1 to socketed gems from catarina, then somehow block this parameter(+1 to socketed gems) to not loose it and then he using orb scouring/chance until get a unique shield?

Please help me - its very important for me...I have mana problem when using herald of thunder and wrath at same time - this help me to reduce mana reservation.

You either trade for it with that implict already on it, or you vaal a bunch of Lycosidae shields and pray. It will likely take a LOT of vaaling shields to get that... but it is possible.

I cant trade because theres not even one available on poetrade...


Ok I checked it and its true - but now I have another question...
So if I try hundred time and finally get this stat on my shield - so then Can I change number/links/color of sockets after corrupting shield? Or I must do that(3 linked with colors I need) always before using vaal orb(what take lots of resources)???

Level 8 Vorici can alter sockets of corrupted items, at an additional cost of 1 Vaal Orb per other orb used. e.g. if you had a one-socket item you would have to pay 3 jewelers and 3 Vaals on Vorici's bench to 3-socket it, 3 fusing and 3 Vaals to 3-link it, and then probably quite a few chroms and an equal number of Vaals to colour it the way you want.

Also, it's about a 1/50 chance to get on a shield.

Yeah there are people that offer Vorici 8 crafting services for a small fee. It would probably be worth the cost for sure.

Better to buy the shield perhaps?
