[2.5] Shotgun Crit Arctic Breath Life Regen Inquisitor

I happily present the strongest build I have created so far, and the first one I'm sharing on forum.
I created it on essence league actually, but since then I didn't find anything similar.
First sorry, but my english is a little bit rusty.

Few words about Arctic Breath and my idea
Spoiler
Arctic Breath is a very interesting skill in that it is both projectile and AoE spell.
Very high base damage and additional protection in form of chilling grounds are quite useful too.
First you fire a projectile that then hit an enemy and explodes dealing AoE dmg to all enemies in range.
Additionally multiple projectiles exploding near each other overlap in damaging area, and because of that more proj. = more damage. Especially so near walls, but since we increase the area of explosion as far as possible, and since Arctic Breath is stopped even by the smallest obstacles, most of the time we destroy everything on screen in one-shot.
The only weakness is reflect but we can deal with it by collecting high life regeneration from every possible source, using purity of ice (high res), and warlord's mark in low lvl CWDT setup

Looks interesting. Could you make a video showcase?
Tried to record something but had problems with the program, will try again later.
For now have this even if it's only few laggy seconds of the map.

It was unplayable because of the program, need to fix it somehow.

Seems like a fun build. Hopefully you can upload some more gameplay videos but thx for this one anyway.
Added new video. Didn't know recording and editing is so much work.
For reference, I too have made high-end Arctic Breath builds, and so I have the following questions:

Did you think that both whirling blades & Lightning warp were needed? Could you not benefit from choosing one or the other, and having more gem sockets open for other interactions? (i.e. Your Vaal Grace linked to an Increased Duration, etc.)

How do you feel about having 5.2k HP? It seems a bit low for some of the spikier content, such as Uber Izaro. It appeared as if your thoughts were to go hybrid with the Melding wheel, which is really inefficient point allocation if your actual primary pool is HP. (15% for 4 points = 3.75% per point, where other locations offer 5+ per point)

Why did you include the Voidbringer gloves? I mean beyond the obvious +1 socketed gems setup. I don't see how having ES gloves that increase your crit chance as worth it without seeing what your crit chance would be without them (Including controlled destruction in your main links only further confuses me as this is a crit build. It's obviously another 'more' multiplier, but you're not at crit cap, and I think these gloves & CD are two different thoughts.) Inquisitor 100% increased crit chance to counteract the CD? Only works on first hit, great for trash, worse for single target. (which is where AB builds struggle).

I believe your method of dealing with reflect is merely because you are only hitting with 1-2 of your AB projectiles and are still sub-80k tooltip (Yes I know each projectile is 66k). With crit multiplier and higher damage, I doubt your 5.2k pool will soak the damage from reflect effectively. What are your thoughts about reflect damage if your outgoing damage was higher?

Have you considered a decoy totem, to position hard bosses in wide open rooms near walls / terrain to help with the 'shotgunning' effect?

Snakepit unique ring?

Snowforged cluster + Throatseeker seem like good pickups for this build as well, albeit 7 point investment for 54% multiplier, 30% crit chance, +10 int, and 43% cold damage. In comparison, all of your templar points after the Amplify wheel only give 43% damage, 20% life, +50 str, a jewel socket, 4% cast speed, and 12% all res for 11 points. Not claiming one is a better choice over the other, but if you had rare gloves with more HP on them, as well as resistances, you might shave off a few skill points and ultimately get more damage.

Power Charges?

Just a bunch of thoughts for your build, but good work so far!

True, using mostly on lab and could put it in off hand, just didn't find any better ideas for the slots except for inc. duration for vaal grace.

It can be played as hybrid. even 1.5k es helps especially that from pious path you get 4% ES regen on consecrated grounds. Also if you don't want hybrid there is alternative for the gloves - winds of change witch I linked in Gear section and used in the past.
As for Controlled Destruction, there is an alternative too, Elemental Focus. Just couldn't decide witch one is better.
And single target...
Had some problems but if you can somehow get the boss near an obstacle like wall for example it goes down pretty fast.
Forgot about melding life wheel, it works for small hybrid, but mostly there are none other life nodes close enough to pick them up.

I don't plan on doing any ele reflect map, so the only instance where I meet with reflect are from single mobs, and everything I wrote is more than enough to deal with it.

Usually don't need decoy totem, in other situations to lazy to go and grab it. could be worn on off hand, that is true.

Worth checking out, but need to cap resistances somewhere.

The skill tree was designed for lvl 90 so it's quite point starved already.
don't really know what would be worth dropping for more dmg, most certainly not life nodes.

Always glad when someone replies :)
didn't expect so much text thou, hope I didn't miss anything.
Ah, my power charge question was primarily concerning why you did not include more power charges as skill point investments. I was surprised that a crit build was satisfied with only 3.

Being crit caped is not necessary in my opinion. Over 50% crit is good enough and builds that hit more times like spark can get away with even less and still be op.
Also on 3 power charges this build have 80%, why would you need more?
Only crit multiplayer doesn't get full effectiveness, increasing base damage is still better.
Are you going to update for the AoE update?
