Question: Does Resistance effect Energy Shield?

Hello.
I'm planning a new build, but i'm not certain about 1 thing. Tat is why i'm here. Will i get decreased incoming spell dmg from mobs for stacking shield? Or i will get 100% incoming dmg no matter what? |

You'll take the same damage as you would if you were purely life based, just to your ES instead.
But resistance doesn't "affect" energy shield, it doesn't really make sense- Resistances affects elemental damage taken. Nothing to see here. Last edited by ReZar#2635 on Feb 22, 2013, 6:29:16 AM

i think what the guy responded said elemental resist = -elemental damage taken. that's all you need to know.

yes resistance matter even if you have ES, why wouldnt it? this isnt the D2 energy shield
Its always in the last place you look
