Does the full life modifier apply based on my life or the totem's?

The character's. Totems use offensive stats inherited from the character, modified by totem-exclusive stuff. At least to my knowledge.

" This is correct. With MDOFL linked to AW, when YOU are at full life your totems get the damage boost. That's why this is actually a decent option for a 6th link for AW. U MAD?

This is also a good 6:th skill since the update to the gem. If you use elemental damage that is.
