Righteous Fire in weapon or shield and weapon swap
So it seems that if you place Righteous Fire in a weapon or shield, activate it, and use weapon swap, you retain some-but-not-all of the effect: graphically, it remains, and it continues to burn you and those around you. But you lose the 40% more damage. Then when you swap back, you regain the 40% more damage, but the burning ring indicating the size of the effect disappears (the "aura" graphical effect on you remains).
Some pictures: Righteous Fire socketed in my shield I activate it: no problems. Weapon swap: scepter and shield (where I socketed RF) go away, but Righteous Fire effect remains in part. It burns me and monsters, but does not give me the damage bonus. Weapon swap again: scepter and shield return, and so does the damage bonus. But the graphical indication of how large my enemy-burning effect is disappears. Last bumped on Dec 26, 2016, 5:52:21 PM

You're not supposed to be able to turn it off like that. It does not in fact burn those around you. But you keep burning until you reach 1 life or use a dousing flask. No bug here.

" There are at the least graphical bugs, because it definitely shows enemies around me burning, and it definitely loses its radius-indicator when I swap back. " Wouldn't know, just thought the behavior was weird. I can kinda see disallowing weapon swap as a way to turn RF off, but the behavior is nonetheless bizarre. |
