Any AFK/tank/retaliation builds?

Want to play a character that can just afk and kill mobs passively that is end game or hardcore viable even if it needs a party.

Just want to know if there are any recent builds like this or even if there is an older one that is still viable should be ok.

The lazy paladin. Seriously what the guy called his build, dunno if its up to date but that sounds right up your alley.

I don't read build guides, but i've made two character archetypes that would probably fit the bill

The first is likely similar to the "lazy paladin" the other guy, once you take one look at Aegis Aurora unique item you should know what to do:



You stack Armour and Block along with your usual defenses (Life, Fortify, Enfeeble if that's your thing, Arctic Armour if you got room, etc.) You socket in all 3 counterattack gems: Vengeance, Reckoning, Riposte. In your case you can probably make room for a separate link up for each skill. Don't forget CWDT level 1 with Tempest Shield for free 3% block. Gladiator is the logical ascendancy here.

The other archetype is a hipster archetype and works if you like spell casters. It's Cast when Stunned Valyrium while building Life. Valyrium is a unique ring that sets your stun threshold based on ES instead of Life, so if you have almost no ES you basically constantly get stunned. Berserker would be the most logical ascendancy although I used Inquisitor with Life Leech Support.

EDIT: Spell based Aegis Aurora could work too, actually, if you get a good Tempest Shield linkup
