[2.5] The Retard Proof Clawsin - CI/Claw/LL/Immune to Stun/Freeze/Bleed
The Passive Tree Take the passive tree with a grain of salt, you can make it work for daggers, cospri's malice, blade vortex, and many other builds. Just remember the key nodes and maintaining the relevancy to crit and/or poison otherwise you may as well be playing a different class. Key nodes being essence reaver, vaal pact, and crit related nodes. The most important are the trifecta of immunities from Eye of Chayula, Alpha's Howl, and Death's Door.

Note that on the right side I use intuitive leap to grab the power charge max + life leech + mana leech and I use efficient training on the left side to make up for some lack of strength as well. Other than that the rest of the jewels can be used for anything you would like from 1h/claw - maximum energy shield. *UPDATE* The intuitive leap was not at all worth it in the end because the amount of gains you can get from the jewel + 1 point vs. a mana leech + power charge + life leech was negligible due to the already high leech from claws no more leech is needed, nor is mana leech because the amount gained from soul raker is already sufficient. My progress so far with the build, look for Phoenix_Trickster. Note that the build is in its early stages and is subject to change. This is the best way to keep up to date with it. The Equipment

To make this build truly retard proof we have to build up our retard resistance (stun/freeze immunity/bleed immunity) so we can keep leeching and truly be retard proof and not have to worry about flasks other than when we want to throw down some real damage. For this we utilize, Eye of Chayula, Alpha's Howl, and Death's Door. By using these three we are able to stay retard resistant. Preferably we would want Alpha's Howl with + Blade Flurry enchant and Eye of Chayula with Attack Speed, you can also try to get es gloves with curse on hit to free up some slots to do some other things and be inventive with the build. The build truly scales with the gear you have. Spend more, get more, but even with the bare minimum it is very good for what it can do.
Remember they don't have to be rares, or uniques. Just give it what you got, just know that you get what you pay for. Your Best Claw Your Best ES Body Armour Your Best ES Shield Your Best ES Gloves Your Best ES Belt Rare Rings (Phys pref or you can get crit base/energy shield base it's up to you) Alpha's Howl Helmet Death's Door Boots Eye of Chayula Amulet As always, try to cap your resistances and get as much energy shield as you can on the equips. For claws you're looking for accuracy/crit chance/crit multi/attack speed or whatever the best claws you got. The Gems

Blade Flurry + Melee Phys on Full Life + Melee Phys + Faster Attacks + Critical Damage + Increased Area of Effect (Concentrated Effect Swap for bosses) You have the option for trading one of the melee phys for life leech or fortify as you see fit. Boots Immortal Call Lvl3 CWDT Lvl1 Increased Duration Vaal Buff of your choice Helmet (Alpha's Howl adds +2 to levels to socketed Aura gems!) You could possibly opt for Herald of Ash + Hatred for more DPS or Arctic Armour+Discipline for more defences, gauge accordingly to your level of retard, just know that arctic armour and herald of ash don't benefit from Alpha's howls' aura effects. Hatred +2 +EMPLVL-1 Discipline +2 +EMPLVL-1 Enlighten Empower Gloves Claw Shield Put in a way that works for you Blasphemy Assassin's Mark Enlighten (You can do it with just 3 as well opting for fortify priority when you have to whirling blade into a barrier mod or enhance for moving even faster or reduced mana if your REALLY PICKY with that mana) Whirling Blades Faster Attack Reduced Mana/Enhance Fortify Golem of choice / I prefer the Ice Golem just to get that bit of crit chance if you get chaos golem you could probably put it with death's door combo instead of the vall buff if you wanted but not really suggested Ancestral Warchief to gain more DPS while near it. Fill in those random spots with item rarity+culling+active skill gem of choice, orb of storms, whatever u want. Flasks

Since your gear already makes you retard proof you can grab anything that gives you more damage. A witchfire brew is good as well if you went a bit of poison/bleed witch is definitely a possible variant.

Also I've opted for a more agressive play lately using abyssus, herald of ash, and hatred for TONS OF DAMAGE. But Alpha + Hatred and Discipline is preferred for more laid back retard proof play.
