guide/how to: ULTRA LOW settings for weak systems

hello,

just yesterday i found a way to maximize the fps on very weak systems.

i had a friend over, and we wanted to play PoE abit, but my laptop is really REALLY underpowered, so he got only like 5-10 frames

after searching for ages i came across a editable ini, the "production_Config.ini" its located at C:\Users\"username"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile

the interesting part is this one:
here u can tweak the graphical settings

"
[DISPLAY]
adapter_name=***your GC***
antialias_mode=8 <- set this to 0
borderless_windowed_fullscreen=false
fullscreen=true <- change to false
post_processing=true <- change to false
resolution_height=1050 <- change to 600
resolution_width=1680 <- change to 800
screen_shake=true <- change to false
shadow_type=variance_mapping <- change to "no_shadows"
texture_filtering=16 <- change to "0"
texture_quality=0 <- generally "0" means highest settings, "2" means low setting, but the really great part is, that u can put in a number way above "2"
idk how far u can push it or if it even registers numbers above "3"... but i use "5"
vsync=false

oh and needless to say... the game WILL LOOK LIKE SHIT! :)

but... its playable... and u will get a few more fps

P.S.
maybe some of u know any other methods for tweaking the game?
feel free to mention em^^

It make the game "runescape-esque", in case that you missed Runescape.
i think he didnt find the "options button"
I agree :p The only reason to do this is if a game limits you to a specific setting like medium, *sometimes* you can change it manually in options.

The real gem in this is the texture quality setting, which you can't put past 2 in the options. Anything past 2 will make the game extremely low quality, almost dollish with super blurry spells.

exactly, this and the resolution settings

i know that u can adjust most of the tweaks in the options, but: if u already are in the ini why not change it right here?
This really helped me a lot thx a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I tried this and now i cant even play, whats the original stuff written in the notes?
