I'm planning a blade flurry Gladiator as well. Yours is quite different though. What are you planning to do with curses/auras?

Went with a little bit less block (Rumi's will cover that) and leech instead. I plan in using Hatred and Haste as Auras, with Enlighten and/or Alpha's Howl. To curse, I will use Reckoning/COH (isn't that what you play Gladiator for?). I don't understand poison, is that really better than a simple added fire damage support? Would use another shield than aegis honestly. Haste is a bad choice though would run Hatred + Arctic Armor and Herald of Ash with Enlighten.

What's wrong with Haste? I got the impression that attack speed is king and Varu is a quite slow blade. On the other hand, that's the build to use Artic Armour and Herald of Ash would be a nice addition. I could also easily spend another gem socket, so I will try that. Mana didn't work out without Enlighten btw, even with, I have only 72 mana left.
I played to level 64 in the meantime and wear now all the uniques I planned to. I imagine my shield choice (Thousand Teeth Temu) is also debateable. I didn't really get the hype, while the dps is quite nice for a one-hander, I played stronger builds - and all the other BF builds I saw in lake were very squishy, being mostly Shadows. I see a bright future as bosskiller for special runs, but it's not the best mapper of all times. I'm not sure about Iron Reflexes, got 5000 evasion now and no armour, but usually Fortify and endurance charges up. 3 skill points is a lot. |
