Zoom out / Map Hack Big Advantage in Race?

Im New, but in a scale of 1-10 how huge advantage is those said hack in a race? i dont want to be participating in a race that i have a disadvantage ):
can any seasoned player let me know ? thanks! |

Using a map hack has the following minor disadvantages:
1) GGG will ban you if they detect it 2) Maphack software tends to be infected with password-stealing trojans, so expect to lose all valuable items in your account if you use it |

As I understand it the map hack unhides the map so you can find the fastest way to get to the next level - so it's an advantage for progression but not really for XP.

" I hate to break it to you, but if you are new, everyone else who has been playing already has an advantage over you. Just focus on learning the game and doing your best in the races. The top people you are going to be competing against aren't the ones that are going to be using cheat programs. A lot of them stream on twitch.tv, so you can watch them just to see how good they are. |

Don't even need maphacks. Seasoned players have almost all the possible map variant combinations in their head.

As has already been stated the maphacks and any type of 3rd party software cheats are prohibited by GGG and against the rules. They will get you banned as well as leaving your account open to being taken over and everything stolen out of it by whoever it is phishing hard on PoE right now.
Just no one click on anything relating to PoE outside of this website, don't go to weird places trying to buy orbs or cheats. If you get redirected from this Site to another site that looks exactly like it but get prompted to enter your password and email - back away slowly and don't hit enter. Be very careful when clicking links and don't enter your email or password anywhere that you are not 100% certain is an official site. This site won't prompt you for your email and password when you are already logged in, so be careful of links posted. I got hacked in Diablo 3 before, really everything gone. DId not use any hack or what so ever.
i really had no idea how i got hacked in D3 too. never registered in any D3 websites.. oh well. Hope this wont happen to PoE , it was mass hacking, mass phishing . most were accused of registering or using hacks but never did. wave by wave, it was insane. i have been using the computer and playing online games for almost 18 years and D3 was the first game i got hacked. Left me speechless. I am enjoying PoE atm. |
