Fire Burst & Curse On Hit Test

Hi guys,
Recently I ran a test about using Fire Burst to trigger curses, the idea came from friend 'BIGBROT'.
What is Fire Burst & How does it look like

It's a skill (a suffix mod) from weapon.
You can get it by using Essence of Hysteria on a weapon (upgrade normal to rare or reforges a rare one).
I guess it would have 'Spell, AoE, Fire' tag if there's skill gem for it.
Its base critical strike chance is 5.

The skill animation is kind of low profile, I can't tell when I ran blast rain/ HoA with it at the first time. Here's the most obvious frame when Fire Burst casts.

Your spell hits or attack hits(even not by 'Fire Burst weapon') have chance to cast Fire Burst,
there's NO 'attack with this weapon' limit.
Fire Burst can be supported, just like a skill socketed in the weapon and linked to other sockets.(similar to The Whispering Ice)
If we socket Curse On Hit + Curse into a 'Fire Burst weapon', when Fire Burst casts, it curse targets hit in its AoE

Off hand effect

Lacerate only works with axes and swords, if Dual wielding with sword and dagger for example, only sword do the attack, but 'Fire Burst & Curse On Hit' still works.

What's the advantage / practical value
1. compare to normal skill + curse on hit set.
Due to Fire Burst's CHANCE TO CAST, it's not as efficient as normal curse on hit set while clear mobs. But when fighting rare/unique/boss, you don't have to cast/attack with alternate skill or 'Cast when Damage Taken' to apply multiple curses to monsters.
And...save one socket?

2. compare with unique item or corruption on gloves 'Curse Enemies with xxxx on Hit'

Fire Burst & Curse On Hit is more applicable/universal, easy to change curse combination to adapt various situations. and curse could go high level.

And I know some of you would love this,
lot of hits and easy to apply curse, right? xD

.
Other strategies:

if your main skill always do multiple hits(barrage, lacerate, eg), and you have decent global/spell critical strike chance, the chance to gain power charges would be more reliable.
.
Savour these moments, for they may never return.
