Overview:
With the use of Reckless Defence, we can easily hit the block cap once again.

Our primary form of defence is block. Secondarily, we will use the method of receive more crits, and lowering crit multi of enemies (explained further down below).

Pros:
- facetank bosses with ease
- 100% 4 endurance charge uptime
- can clear most map mods
- immune to reflect

Cons:
-average waveclear
-high smothering maps can be challenging(40%+ reduced recovery)

Ascendancy Choice: Slayer
Earthquake Block Aegis Varunastra can be played by a lot of Ascendancies, but works the best with Slayer.

Slayer

As a Slayer for this build you will gain:
- 56% increased Damage with Two Handed Weapons
- 0.4% of Attack Damage Leeched as Life
- 20% of Overkill Damage is leeched as life
- life leech effects are not removed at full life
- +10% of maximum Life per second to maximum Life Leech rate
- 100% increased Life Leeched per second
- Cannot be Stunned while Leeching
- You are Immune to Bleeding while Leeching
- 20% more Damage if you've Killed Recently
- 50% reduced Reflected Physical Damage taken
- 15% increased Radius of Area Skills if you've Killed Recently
- Gain Onslaught for 20 seconds when you Kill a Rare or Unique Enemy
- Kill Enemies that have 20% or lower Life when Hit by your Skills

Bandit Discussion

40 Life - we need as much life as we can since there is little life from our unique gears

8% Attack Speed - to stack life leech as fast as possible, and to avoid the "self stun" from multistrike

Endurance Charge - 4% phys reduction and 4% ele res, since we get little resistances from our unique gears
