DO NOT REPLACE THE playerdata.xml if you already have one. Just copy meeps.xml, config.xml and the .exe to your folder.

MapFinder v2.2 Change Log

- New file to copy in your directory : config.xml
- Better UI Since all seems to work, i cleaned up the app.
- Added Shaped maps (checkbox for you to define if you shaped a map or not) .filter generation will react accordingly.
- Auto save : Each action is saved while performed (no more "save" button click)
- Added automatic .filter update :
You will see detail in the "Config" Menu button of the app. One thing required for it to works :

add in your .filter :
#StartMapFilter
#EndMapFilter

At the place you want the app to generate filters for maps. Filters will be generated between those two words. If you dont want automatic update just skip this config button.
If you choose to use it here is an exemple :
You just finished a map, select the map in the app check "done", then in game click the reload button for filter. DONE
You liked the map you just dit you want to highlight it ? check "good layout", then in game click the reload button for filter. DONE

For first use, obviously lines between #StartMapFilter and #EndMapFilter will be empty. just modify one property on a map it should fill them. then reload .filter in game :)

- Correct bug that "un-done" maps under certain circumstances while saving
- Add Loot Filter tool :



It Automatically generates map loot filter acording to your map.
All maps are bordered with their tier color.
Good layout maps(according to your preferences on the app) have green text.
All maps you haven't done yet are deep pink and larger.

When you click on the lootfilter button a popup will show with your data.
Copy paste content to your .filter document.
Be sure to remove other filter regarding maps you already have.

If you dont know how to edit .filter file please do a quick search on the forum.


As usual please let me know if you encounter a bug.

So here is the purpose of the new tool :

If you like to help your mates in the progress and they like to help you, they might frequently ask "do you have this one, did you do this one, ..." and personnaly i quite never remember.
So with this tool by pressing the "Generate missing maps" u'll get an easy line of number to share to your friends. If they paste it in the "compare" textbox and then click the "Go" Button, the maps you are missing will be surrounded with a pink circle, easy enough for him to know if it's an already done map that he might have somewhere un his stash.

If you dont want to display it anymore simply clear the text area and click go again.

Else, all that was working yesterday should still be working now, i added 2 checkboxes for maps "layout" and "boss" to check for your convenience. Thos datas won't be lost if you do an other patch.

Users from yesterday i'm sorry but you will have to fill up your map again cause i separated the data.
This way if maps are added or changed in the futur it will be easy for me to change ggg data without altering user's data.

Neat tool.

Dissappointing that yet another QOL feature has to be designed and implemented by the user base rather than the developers.

I can understand poe trade...but when we have acquisition, findmymap, mtxfinder, poeiteminfo, and all this other shit running it's no wonder the performance in game takes a hit.

Thanks for the work and sorry for the short rant...just annoyed that GGG is okay with (and sometimes expects) the community to do their work for them.

I know its not our role to do such app but i didnt want to wait to long to find my way in the atlas^^
I think they will add it in game as they added invotory searsh but when,, we dont know ^^ so i did that while we wait for ingame searsh :)

For errors, i'll add it when i have time, until then you can just find it in the .xml and remove the corresponding part :) (tips : rename it with a dumb name for quick search in notepad)

When all map is completed i'll post the correct xml for everyone :) so i will do the placement for missplaced items.

Next one probably tomorrow : List of maps


EDIT : I'm missing some maps on the image of the atlas i picked, if someone found the good one please drop a link so i can change it tomorrow (i'll update correct map list at the same time)

Allright obviously while posting the v2 update i found out that i forgot to change the color of the selected map name on the bottom right corner, i'll correct that in next patch along with bugs if you find some.
