Race Event Season One announced!

What happens if you use an Orb of Chance on one of the rewarded Coral Rings and it turns into a unique (Kaom's Sign, being the only unique Coral atm, will be the example)? Does it keep the special reward art, or does the unique art over-ride it? If I recall correctly, you cannot scour a Unique item. Wouldn't this devalue the ring pretty significantly?

GGG has forgotten where they came from. As a result, I no longer support the deceitful, corporate Tencent slave sellouts running this game.

Jank rewards for so much time invested......

probably right, i loved the feeling to play a race to get rewarded with something i can improve my character, wth i should do with these rewards, someone complain pls
im ci dont need for ilvl 237 coralring, redbeak goldrim...just lowlvl equip. sry!
i miss a astramentis and marohi erqui^^
just kidding but "something" to improve why should i play races if i can do maps and get better reward for my char?
No offense.. i like races and all but i was hoping for some currency...now you talk about inflation?? i was going to use those alchs. etc

Also already have most of the unique rewards..

I would like 5linked white armor more of a reward because those i need..

These are some good questions that I'd also like to know the answers to. An ilvl 100 Coral Ring stuck with Kaom's Sign item art would be absolutely worthless. Well.. it'd be worth as much as any other Kaom's I guess.

I'd also like to know why we cant Scour uniques anymore.

If you don't like the rewards, shut up and don't race
certainly has a negative quality about it.

And I'll bet you'll still race even after complaining, so you'll be proving their rewards to be just fine. Like I said, actions speak louder than words, if you want them to listen, give them a reason to listen, if you complain then compete, you're wasting your breath.

Not really, some people may be disappointed with the rewards system and voiced their reasons why, but may well still participate because they enjoy racing for the sake of racing, because they fundamentally enjoy playing PoE, OR see no harm in collecting RP as they realise the system will see some changes further down the road (which more than likely will be the case).

But you're making out that the only course of action for all those "complainers" is inaction, a quiet protest that will really show them the triumph of our will! get real, it was a simple point Litheum was making and your failure to grasp it is shockingly unreal. So to re-cap in a nutshell i'll quote directly:

how will the devs know why we don't race if no one tells them??

This is the internet, this is a forum, do you know where the origins of the word forum came from? it was a place to speak ones mind as well as to listen to what others have to say. Now maybe not all of what gets said is totally useful, but actually reading through quite a few of these posts most of it is.

I think GGG are quite capable of discerning between the two without your needlessly provocative assistance.

Does another art also means another 3d art?
I like the events idea, not sure about races. Here's why:
- I'll need to play slow, because my FPS drops a lot when fighting unique monsters (otherwise I tend to die on first encounter with a specific boss)
- I have limited play time: I hope for more 1 Hour Solo Races at 10PM(UTC)
- I'd like to reach 120 points, but this will be tough, assuming that I can only get points for leveling chars

So I'd like to see some events (possibly long-term) that would reward players for playing the game the way they want (not forcing them to race). I'd also change the rewards - you get the points, but you decide what you spend your points on.

think i like the idea, so just an useful reward in long-term, seems ok, just something!
Just give some more useful rewards and I'll be happy.
