The Shaper [Boss Design] - what do you expect from GGG?

Hello fellow exiles!

With Patch 2.4 Atlas of Worlds comming around with the introduction of a new endgame "super boss" encounter i was wondering what you think what GGG will do to make this encounter not get trivialized completle by the current level of power creep and still make it challenging to play and build arround.

Post your expectations and suggestion how such a boss should be "shaped" and designed.

My personal thoughts on possible boss modifiers:

- immune to freeze
- immune to chill
- immune to shock
- immune to ignite
- immune to bleed
- immune to poison
- immune to knockback
- immune to stun
- immune to curses

- resists elemental damage
- resists chaos damage
- resists physical damage
- takes reduced damage from critical strikes

- regenerats X amounts of life over time

I fully expect to never bother with the encounter. Might as well not exist. It will be designed to give the top 2% of players a challenge, and the other 98% will simply ignore it.

There will be phases!

I speculate one phase will require you to be unarmed in order to damage him. That's right, you will have to spar with the old man in hand-to-hand combat.
