Reave VS Cyclone

Which has a quicker clear speed if same weapon were used?

Reave, because for sure you would augment it by using vaal reave as well.
in my experience a standard cyclone build is one of the slowest clearing skills in the game, reave is one of the fastest.
Reave is faster because the skill kinda forces you to clear faster and move to the next pack.

Cyclone is fine as a skill that could AoE and ST very well.

But time has changed cyclone is for coc. Reave is one of the few melee skill that could keep up with skills like earthquake.

Also in PoE the best melee skills are ranged. Cyclone naturally lost on this aspect.
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

You want reave, flickerstrike or spectral throw if you value clear speed.
You have to be realistic about these things.

Cyclone requires 200 movespeed to be effectual and even then its pretty hard to make its aoe feasible even with rediculous stuff like +2 range atziri's axe.

Cyclone is worse except for certain cases with specialised gear and passives. For example Atziri's disfavour on slayer ascendency with at least 150%+ movespeed and see much aoe as possible can compete, but that's a really fringe case, and expensive too.

This is a buff
Cyclone is a shitty skill with unnecessary damage penalty on first hit, on top of basically zero aoe. Don't play it.
