I'm leaving the one in that set until last; if I can't get a dual spirited enemy, no point messing about with Rampage.

Oh man that sucks. I did get the 1000 in a nice gorge map, but i also used the frog prophecy to add even more mobs and it really helped.

I did it in a canyon witches with 10% pack. There were 1200 monsters, i think. Took some maps to get. I didn't know i really would need sea witches at first, wasn't here in rampage league. I think it is more troublesome to roll the map right than running it at all. Gl with reaching it.

Dried lake also has 1k+ mobs occasionally too (maybe once every 10-20)

Instead of running a rampage map, you could run Ambush and use a rampage item (eg: wyrmscale, Dancing Dervish.) Just gotta be quick with those alchemy orbs on the strongboxes. ;)

play an undead map and just avoid killing the necromancers? idk if killing the same enemy over and over counts or not.

other option might be getting a map full of carrion queens or something and just running around getting them to spawn lots of junk before you start. Open all the strong boxes etc first maybe toss in a Tora prophesy for good measure.

It does not help with Rampage. What they are saying is they are not going bother trying to get the Rampage challenge unless they 1st get the double spirit one done. That's because you can't really go out and try for the double spirit one. It takes a lot of luck. And only if they get that one will they bother to get the Rampage one done to end up with all challenges complete.
