Elemental Skills

Sorry if this question has been asked before. I could not find the answer using the search function.
There is an affix for jewels which says '+xx to Critical Strike Multiplier for Elemental Skills'. Now my question is what is an Elemental Skill? Fire, Cold and Lightning all fall under the Elemental tag.

i would like some more info on this affix... say i use sunder which i believe is not an elemental skill... but if i link elemental support gems to it... does that now become an elemental skill?

No, you can't make skill elemental. It has to be in gem description very first top line (sunder is Attack, AoE, Melee)
