When Chris says that lab haters are a minority, how right is he?

I hate it, I pay people chaos to do it for me. lol

Do it 3x per char, and never again.

A lot of exploits and limitation are not fixed because they are hard to fix from programing point of view.

Exactly, they aren't a big company and the engine they use is problematic, they have a lot of work on their hands and it's taking them probably half again as long as it would ideally take.

So, to act on something they need three conditions:
1. The community has to almost uniformly agree it's a problem.
2. They must also agree it's a problem.
3. It has to be serious enough or the solution has to be simple enough to rate high on the priority list.

Currently, Labyrinth has none of those, we'll see about the future but currently it doesn't.

Yea, sorry I dont agree with any of your points, including your conclusion.

The first stage of GGG thinking of the change for the future is important one. Especially as they move their focus away from lab to whatever will be in next expansion in sep, so there will be a lot less reason to force all people to do the lab for the points.

It isn't me you have to agree with, that's the way they do things and there's no helping it much, just like we have our restrictions they have theirs. And you have to admit it sounds pretty unreasonable to start running around with a hanky every time the community sneezes.

Complaints haven't reached the critical mass yet and even if they did they would need to have something to replace labyrinth with. Maybe they never do, sometimes that happens too, if they won't budge on something we just get used to it or leave.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

The worst thing about lab is like HC and if you have shit connection or super high ping you can fail due to no fault of your own. All progress lost like HC. Thats why I wait until I'm OP and can do it in 10 min or less. I do mid maps before even ascending normal. Portals would go a long way to making it okay. If I wanted to play HC I'd play HC. If I wanted to play without portals I'd leave scrolls in my stash.

Edit thats another thing. I have a 1 yr old always needing something as 1yr olds do. I also have important phone calls a lot. In maps no big deal instant port out where I'm at. Lab no dice. Need to find a safe spot and hold tight or lose all progress.

Hate the lock in more than anything.

The stats GGG is looking at is likely that a small amount of players complain about it on the forum, but nearly everyone is doing the lab fairly regularly. GGG may deduce that because people are doing the lab in silence they must enjoy it. Which isn't necessarily true either. The lab rewards are too strong, you have to do it even if you hate it (unless you just don't care about progressing, in which case you may as well stay level 1 and not leave Twilight strand lmao)

i think the labyrinth is ok but i can understand that certain power players don't like obstacles which can't be easily mastered just by playing the nolife card to get an advantage over players having only average play time ... because it's only the traps which make the difference to other game areas.

age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
I hate the Lab sooo much and probaly Prophecy will be my last League ... seriously, i love the game but this damn Lab, its so stupid, it will be the reason i quit POE :(
The main problem is that it's such a low level it's not worth running, you should get 6 lives like a normal map but it scales to your level, and i don't care if that makes it easier to get to 100, someone being lvl 100 has literally zero effect on my gameplay.

If you ask people in your guilds, in parties or town or chat if they like the lab or not you may find the lab is far far more hated than the polls show.

If I ask people in my guild the lab is far more liked than the polls show. So. What does that tell us now? That the polls are not representative? We knew that before.

no, because the people that voted in the poll are much more than a bunch of guildies.

Logically is "asking to guildies" that is not representative.
There is this whole 'either you are with us or you are against us' Goerge-Bush-logic over this thread.
So many people can't see the greys in the whole whiteknight vs whiner discussion.

Personally I really don't like the labyrinth (especially the trials are a waste of time in my book), but I don't see how that automatically makes me a whiner. What part of this post constitutes whining?

Also, I am sure there are people who like the labyrinth who aren't fan-boy-protecting GGG automatically just because the like the labyrinth.

My guess is, that it's the fanboys who calls everybody who has a different opinion than themselves whiners - and vice versa too.

no point
They will always find a way to say it's biased

It's their only defense against the truth
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it
