Abyssal Cry/Bladefall Berserker (The BabyRage Berserker)

gear

5k2 life, 2k mana for MoM, 8k eva, dual-curse Enf/TC.
Hard to say damage numbers since Bladefall tooltip is wonky, but I one-shot weak mobs in T11 maps, and when I kill one mob, the rest explode from Abyssal. Fast clear-speed, easy to build for MF. Easy lab runs due to Warbringer+Enduring Cry, 7k eHP.

overall, a very solid build.

This was another build from Prophecy league, but I didn't think to put it here til now.

The idea was to use Conc Effect with (legacy) Voidheart to get massive DoT, going crit Assassin for double DoT from that also.

Here's the gear

and the tree

I ran an Inspired Learning in the socket next to Ranger.

The build was pretty quick, and fun, and did a lot of damage though it was a bit squishy. 10/10

Freezing Pulse build from Essence league:

Added Cold is for single-target, swapped in for GMP

and TREE

My goal with the build was to perma-freeze the highest boss I could, and I did pretty well at that although I could have done better. I perma-froze T15 Kaom and Daresso but didn't manage to freeze Malachai, Rigwald, and some of the warbands. The build was pretty tanky with over 15% regen, and leech from the boot enchant. Also, the Cold Snap CWDT saved my bacon a couple times.

My version of BV in BV League:

I went life-based Berzerker with VP for a large amount of instant leech, with a bit of crit and poison for damage. Since I went crit BV, I had 100% uptime on my surgeon's flasks, so I had very flexible defenses. It ended up working about how I expected it, very hard to kill and high enough DPS.

I also had other flasks like surgeon's Sapphire, surgeon's Aquamarine, surgeon's Stibnite, etc. if I needed them.

Here's the TREE

edit: I guess I'll add my Flameblast Totemer tree to the bottom here. The gear was simple, it was recycled CI gear with a mainhand Doryani's for damage. Here's the tree for that one. I reached level 80.

Beach League builds!

First up is my league starter, a Raider Essence Drain character named ReneeBelloq. The idea was to use Raider Frenzy charges to get a bunch of double-dipping damage, with some QoL cast- and move-speed and status immunity. Got lucky and got 2 exalt drops in the first week, which I traded for the Cospri's (6L in 300-ish fuses). The build has only 5k life, but it has evasion and dodge as well as double defensive curses; blight+cwc+contagion also helped to keep mobs off me. The damage was satisfactory, both for clearing and single-target. Overall, a good mapping build that also cleared Atziri easily but fell off a bit in the high tiers due to low life pool. The build had a slight focus on rarity, which I've been enjoying for league-start builds.

.

Second, I had a Slayer Rain of Arrows burn prolif Slayer named Stinkstink_the_Slayer. Why RoA prolif? Glad you asked! RoA has both an AoE helm enchant and inherent %inc aoe on the gem itself, which gave me a final prolif radius of 26 or so - about equal to an unmodified Ice Nova. Basically, screen-sized aoe+prolif for fast clearing.
This build was originally a Deadeye, but then I saw someone who had made a similar build as Slayer, and I am so glad I rerolled. Slayer's leech and damage both made the build play much smoother. I didn't play that much this league, so the remake only made it to level 77.

And when I got to level 80, I would have put these babies on:

2.6 Legacy League Builds!

My first build in Legacy league was a Blade Flurry berzerker by the name of ShinyMagneton. I started as this build with the intention to eventually switch to an (experimental) blade flurry cast-while-channeling Animate Weapon build, so this version was designed to farm Chimera to get my Scourge claws, while being able to transition to the AW version later. But, I had too much fun playing this build, so I never switched over. It is very fast and can take punches in the face ALL DAY LONG (zerk+VP), but the damage is only medium (about 100k against enemies I can poison).

This was the first time I farmed T16, and I did it with Radiating Tempest Leaguestones Of Abundance, which was a fun little minigame in and of itself.

Anyway. Here's the gear and tree for the build.

Second, once I was a little bit burnt out on farming Chimera, I made a maximum-minion-speed Necromancer build called _evanosiop. With the buffed Raise Zombies, I thought it could be cool to have a wave of poison turbo-zombies following me, smashing into enemies like water. Also, I wanted to try the newly-buffed Mind over Matter; it worked well, as a nice way of getting +2k ehp. The final speed of my zombies was 205% increased movement speed, 133% increased attack speed (~2 attacks per second). I will say, zombies are still too squishy to be used in an endgame build in my opinion, even with 125% increased max life. Still, I don't think I'd sacrifice any move speed for tankiness (a la Mon'tregul's); whenever I watch other zombomancers I think they are too slow for my taste.

I used this build to farm my 100 Atziri's for the challenge, and also whenever I wanted to do some truly brainless mapping, just running around and picking up items.

And lastly, there's my Wormhammer build, which... is way too complicated for me to want to explain here, but luckily, I already made a build guide for it, so go check that out! There's a video guide too.

WormHammer is the most optimized build I've ever made, and also easily the most expensive, with the price tag coming in at around 25-30 exalts in the end. Currency farming wasn't my goal this league per se, but I did wind up making much more than I ever have before (mostly from rushing to end-game and selling maps; I also made a tidy profit on the "endgame grinds" challenge) but allllll of that money got poured into this build. Very worth it, this build is unlike anything I've ever played and was very worth making.

I'll go ahead and post the tree and gear hear, as I changed a couple things from the guide (mostly dropping my rare boots for Abberath's Hooves so that I can use The Taming).

Legacy was my favorite league so far, which is why I went for 40/40 this league. Excited for 3.0 :)

Harbinger build

SoulFeastFourTwenty

with Bisco's Collar for an amulet. The Steel Ring is self-crafted btw.

skilltree
Basically a standard Dual-Wield Slayer Sunder tree grabbing flask duration and curse effect.

The build takes advantage of Soulthirst's guaranteed Soul Eater during flask effect, with the longest flask effect possible. Saturated Sanctified flask for 20.9 second base duration, with Druidic Rite to cancel out Soulthirst's duration reduction. Then, a pumped-up Temporal Chains extended that to 37 seconds. 37 seconds is easily enough to accumulate 200 souls, for a 1,000% attack speed buff at the end. Soul Taker is necessary as a weapon so that you can keep your mana pool empty but attack freely.

I literally leapt so fast I had to spam attacks just to keep track of where I was. Funnest build gameplay-wise, hands down.

About 180k dps fully-buffed with no Soul Eater stacks, it was strong enough.

Abyss League Builds

First, I did a Champion Reave build, but I'm going to try it next league as I wasn't satisfied with how it performed this league.

Second, I made an Inpulsa's Lightning Strike character.

skilltree

Yep, it's another Pathfinder. The core synergies of the build are:

* Lightning Strike + Ancestral Call, fully converted to Lightning, with the helm enchant for basically a free support gem (3 pierce). Ancestral Call both triples my pack clear with that amazing pierce, and is a More Multiplier on single-target, as it allows me to hit with both the projectiles from the original hit and a ghost-hit, with proper spacing.
* Lightning damage -> Inpulsa explosions. I go soft-crit ~50%, with 40% flat Chance to Shock from Pathfinder, tree, and my belt. So my attacks have over 80% chance to shock, and then the lightning explosions from Inpulsa's themselves have 40% chance to shock. Counting all the generic %inc damage and penetration, I think the explosions went up to 86% of enemy base life.
* Pathfinder for shock chance, running fast and Vinktar's uptime.

The build had +158% movement speed, and tended to one-shot packs cleanly. 270k-ish single-target DPS if you include the Ancestral Call trick. Very squishy though, only 4.3k life, but that's the price you pay for IIQ gear.
