Skipping labyrinth - a solution?

I had an idea. What if there was a portal at the entrance to labyrinth which costs 10/20/30 regal orbs (difficulties). It transports you to the treasure room but invalidates your run time. It wouldn't really be usable in early leagues, and it wouldn't be 'easily' accessible to new players, but would let altoholics save a lot of pain.
In case it wasn't clear, the price is prohibitive enough that you can't do it on your first league character, just afford on alts to save time. PS you can already do this by purchasing a labyrinth carry, you just waste time doing that way. There's no argument to be made about it removing difficulty. Prejudice is a burden that confuses the past, threatens the future, and renders the present inaccessible. IMO they should at least make the Cruel lab give 4 ascendancy points and the Merciless one - 6.
