Spell Totem

What kind of totems do you use with Spell Totem to be able to activate it? Because when I put Ice spear first then Spell Totem. It won't work. Any advises for me how to use Spell Totem correctly?

Ice spear works fine with spell totem. You have to place spell totem in a slot linked to the slot you have your spell in. It will then, upon using the ice spear spell, create a totem om the ground instead of just using the spell.

Virtually any spell works with spell Totem, I believe you can even put Aura Gems on it. Like someone said Ice spear works really great, I'm a fan of firestorm, Spark works good too. Just about any projectile spell with Lesser Multiple projectiles works great too.

There must be a link between totem and support gem so you can use it.
If it's a projectile/bow attack you have to use the Ranged Attack Totem(Why isn't renamed to Projectile Totem :( ) The only exceptions are Rain of Arrows and Poison Arrow for now. Every other Skill works with Spell totem. Also make sure you have enough mana a 250% multiplier is quiet much. | |

Saw someone this weekend with Spark on their totem with GMP and fork... there was a lot of lightning in the room.
It was pretty neat though. | |
