yes this is really iportant, without them you will have only 133 mana cost, which is nothing, maybe youll be able to trigger cwdt lvl 1....
and as for bandits, yes what you said is good or oak-skill point-frenzy

well... you will have high life, and not much else, so i guess flame totem / flameblast will be ok (you can also use the flask quite early for defance)

What about using Voidbringer as well? That way you will take even more damage? Have you tested that? Or is it too difficult because of reists or something?

that is possible, also i tried version with dual apeps wands, the also increase the damage, but in my opinion its easy enough to get the jewels and nodes for them, and life / res / attack speed on gloves are really important , that is why im not using it.

atm i get to 0.38 sec per attack, if i increase the speed dramaticly ( will take few nodes ~ 40% attack speed) i might get to 0.35, that is ok, but not something i feel worth investing into too much.
you can take it ofcourse, that wont be too wasted, but i feel like any skill point for life will be better
