Frost Bomb and Duration

So I found the joys of frost bomb early on in one of my ice builds; being able to lower enemy cold resistance close to level 5 and on top of curses is great. But I've come to a bit of a sticking point with it; It has two opposing durations. By that, I mean that it has a timer before it goes off, and a duration of the debuff that it applies. Naturally, one would want the former to be short, and the latter to be long. But from what I know, putting Increased or Less duration on it will effect both.

My question is though, the passive nodes that say 'Skill effect duration', do those apply to the detonation timer as well as the debuff duration, or just the debuff? I imagine they do, but I wanted to ask just to be sure.

Sometimes skills with two durations have one affected by duation passives and another that's not. One example being Phase Run.

But nobody knows if that's the case for Frost Bomb except GGG, so it's up to them if they want us to know.

Well...Can't we just...Ya know, test these things? See if the duration increased by using it? o.0

Edit: Went and tested it; Increased Skill effect effects how long it takes to detonate the bomb, but not the debuff duration.
