[2.2] STUNLOCK - EQ - SLAYER (solo 6 party merc izaro)

Hi, this is a guide for my stunlocking EQ slayer in normal perandus league at the moment.
The build is versatile either being very tanky, or very high dps with medium tankiness.

i used this character to solo merc izaro in a 5 person party while the 4 people waited outside the boss room, with 6 endurance charges up i was face tanking everything.



slayer ascendancy overwhelm allows your first hit on every enemy to stun them for a VERY long time if you have a marohi, and if it gets doubled you can easily stun something for 5 seconds with 1 hit.

to 100% stunlock most bosses just put the STUN gem into your EQ setup and make sure you have 15% reduced stun threshold on your belt. of course this depends on your dps, the more reduced stun threshold you have the easier it will be

soul of steel is also very good but i could not find room for it


dps mode current gear/links



kaoms is not required


switch added fire for stun and punishment for warlords mark if you want to stunlock very high health bosses. but you dont need it to stunlock most bosses

you can also switch molten shell and immortal call around as you wish.

To go super defensive mode, replace hatred with artic armour and herald of ash with determination.


edit : you can also take more elemental damage in the tree if you get a lot of weapon elemental damage on your gear, but i dont have any weapon elemental damage on my gear currently.

these are the 6 gems i switch out time to time.

just fyi: this build is quite inexpensive. all you need is the marohi and life/resist gear.

if you wanted a more expensive build with higher dps that scales better with gear i would go for crit staff earthquake juggernaught with 1000 accuracy and 8 endurance charges if you plan on getting 15ex+ worth of gear with lots of crit on it.

i took 40 hp , 16% phys , and 1 endurance charge

took 16% phys cause most points you use end up being worth 14/15% phys overall on the passive tree
