Overview:
I'm sure most of you have played a phys crit nado shot character at some point. If so, you'll know that those characters don't really need more dps, and need survivability, in most cases. So with the release of Ascendancy, the Champion class opens up the ability to have the Fortify buff at all times without being a melee. This lets the character be tanky while still being able to take things like Acrobatics.
Current tree, lvl 91
Link The extra pierce nodes ensure that our pierce is 100%. Upcoming will be more life (4k+ atm), more damage, and more charges. To ascend: Normal: take bonus while fortified nodes (won't do anything yet). Cruel: take 'You have Fortify'. Previous buff will now apply. Merciless: Plan is to take the damage and movespeed aura, or 40% damage on not low life, 100% ar/ev on low life, and removes stats on reaching low life. Endgame: Take whatever you didn't take in Merc. Bandits: Oak, Kraityn, Alira
Current Gear
Swap in for Izaro killing: I got a little lucky and got the Drillneck from Cadiro. I currently have 100% pierce chance on TS and CoH Frenzy. I've gotten enchants I really like on boots and gloves but still need to hit that helm enchant.
Skill setups
Main: Tornado Shot + GMP + Faster Attacks + Pierce 5L: + PPAD 6L: + Crit Chance/Crit Multi Support: Frenzy + GMP + Pierce + Curse on Hit + Assassin's Mark - If you only have a 4L drop Pierce Utility stuff: Bloodrage, Frenzy, Ice Golem, Blink Arrow CWDT: Ball Lightning + GMP + Blind + CWDT (lvl 1) - this makes it harder for enemies to hit you if they manage to stick to you. We use Frenzy GMP Curse on Hit to keep our frenzy charges up to get free poison from the Snakebite gloves.

How to do Atziri
Now that I've killed Atziri, I'll share my insights of how to do her as a Tornado Shot character. First, both sets of guardians are fairly easy and can be kited, and you shouldn't die if you play intelligently. I recommend leaving the cycloner for last in the trio and killing the other two in some order before that. In the Atziri fight itself, the biggest danger is during the split phase. Since Tornado shot sprays arrows all over the place, it's very easy to hit the mirror and kill yourself. To avoid this, I swapped out my curse on hit setup for a 4L blast rain to focus my fire on a single member of the trio. I still used tornado on the solo Atziri. Now, with my current level of gear and experience with the build, I believe it would be better to either: 1. Swap frenzy into the main skill link and switch GMP for slower proj OR 2. Swap Barrage into the main link and switch GMP for slower proj. Vids and other things will come as I hit higher level and do more content. Feel free to discuss the build, provide feedback, and give suggestions. Current DPS is ~180K (40K tooltip gmp nado shot) at level 91, with additional arrow quiver. I am liking this build, but I am to understand that it's a crit build. how much is your crit chance with tornado shot? i didn't quite catch that in the video

Having trouble getting enough intelligence to get to run blue skill gems and other things like that, how are you getting int?

This may help, but i can't see leveling advises/guide. At least to 60 when you can wear gloves and chest armor. I can see it's not dependent of some unique bow? I've got Doomfletch prism. Will it be useful? |

" I leveled with Shrapnel Shot until I could get Tornado Shot (act 3), and used that the rest of the game. A great starting unique bow is Death's Harp at lvl 32. I've actually switched to using Death's Opus, as it ended up being more DPS than the good phys crit rare bow I had. In the long run you'll either want to be using Death's Opus (which you can easily do t13+ maps with), or a powerful phys crit bow (like a rare harbinger). -Savage Theorycrafter/Build Creator for PORTAL guild
