[Public tabs] Allow us to create shorter priced selling tabs.
In this announcement https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1595024 GGG has introduced in game tab buyouts. Which is great! I've used similar methods since procurement updated with that feature and it has simplified my trading experience so much.
However, one thing that the in game option currently wont do as good as other 3rd party methods is optimizing for the amount of stash tabs shown in the stash at the same time. For example: As can be seen in those picture, more stash tabs can be shown if a shorthand notation is used. And if you have played a few leagues or have a lot of stash tabs you have probably experienced that browsing to tabs that aren't shown is quite the hassle. So you want to have as many tabs shown on the screen as possible for easy browsing. How would this work? My suggestion is to make a custom prize mode where the user defines which tab names should output in the correct sell format, maybe in a similar format as item filters? This is possible with Acquisition Plus (https://github.com/Novynn/acquisitionplus/releases) by using its shop template feature. Here's the template I'm using if you want to try it out: http://pastebin.com/67gsZ8qr. The template is super long because Acquisition Plus searches for a exact name, it would be considerably shorter if the value could be a wild card. Basically, with my template Acquisition Plus looks for stash tabs named: '[Value][ShorthandCurrencyFormat]' and outputs in the shop thread: '~[Tag] [Value] [CurrencyFormat]' in a spoiler. If this naming convention was used it would also automatically switch to a public tab to save another click. Edit: Here's a link for the process: http://www.twitch.tv/ziggydlive/v/51627001?t=00h18m15s Thank you for your time! You can name the tabs whatever you want.

For tab wide prices? None of the pictures suggests that. So on the fourth picture he manually wrote "~b/o 2 chaos" and then manually changed the price in the drop down menus?
It is still an workflow downgrade for me. Since I only need to rename the tab to be finished. |

Yeah, the 4th picture. It's the same interface box with the options to change the name and set the price. Doesn't seem unintuitive to me.

It's not intuitive to me because that would be a noticeable downgrade for me. I guess I'm gonna have to rant about that in a other thread once I have a better understanding of the function.

Here's a picture from the official announcement.
Look at it, OP. Look. I guess the one thing GGG can take from this is they should have named the tab in the example image "trade stuff" instead of "~b/o 2 chaos." /thread When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Actually, I take that back. They should have used a non-premium stash tab (named "4") in their example image.
