Q on Life Recovery, does Life Gain on Hit count?
Hi, I know Mark has said that "all gaining of life" counts as recovery. However, when he listed examples, he listed three things: leech, regen, and flasks. Given that GGG is usually very specific, I was wondering which definition was more precise, the "all gaining = recovery" or the "leech, regen, flasks = recovery".
I'm asking specifically to find out if life/ES/mana on hit/kill would benefit from Trickster's Patient Reaper node. Thanks! builds: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1663570/

The "all gaining of life is recovery" makes me think LGOH is considered recovery as well. I think he just didn't list it since it isn't affected by the "%slower recovery" in maps.

" Which would also mean it's unaffected by Increased Recovery, because that's the exact same modifier but a posiitve value instead. :P |

Patient Reaper's wording has recently been corrected to correctly state it increses recovery rate.
While the things you mention are recovery, recovery rate modifiers such as this and the map can only apply to over-time recovery, not instant recovery. | |
" Increased recovery sounds more like increased damage though. Good to know they changed it to increased recovery rate though. Way clearer. |

" Thanks for the reply! That's much clearer. "Recovery rate" also means that it does not work with Vaal Pact unless I'm mistaken. Too bad, ha, I would have loved to get 60% stronger Seething flasks all the time! builds: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1663570/
