Gladiator Outmatch and Outlast and Dual Strike/Cleave

How does the Gladiator Outmatch and Outlast ascendancy node interact with dual wielding, in particular with Dual Strike and Cleave? As far as I can tell, these attack with main and off hand simultaneously, so does a kill count as main hand, off hand, both, or neither?

We have this from the DS wiki: "On-hit Effects: Effects that typically occur when you hit an enemy will only apply for this skill once per use", but the above are two possible effects from a single hit.

Although the skills look simultaneous, it's possible they are actually two attacks.

My WoE Cleave/DS Duelist would like to know :)

They are not. It's just the one attack. They're super fucking weird, too.

This question has popped up. Sadly, the answer is they're main-hand only due to limitations :(

Interesting.

I guess that means Dual Wield will be best served as a boss killer, when you're not getting the kills to trigger Outmatch and Outlast.

Hmmmm, bummer. Give that thread, I wonder if I was ever getting the chaos damage with those skills.

Given the mechanics of both WoE and Cleave/DS, they look like they were made for each other. Wonder if they were ever working as I expected. Having said that, I have no complaints about how it's working, it's one of my more fun characters.

Thanks for the answer :)
You should still be dealing Chaos Damage - Wings of Entropy counts as a main-hand and an off-hand weapon, Cleave only counts as a main-hand hit. :) Different factors to consider.
Hits with the main hand and damages with the offhand. I gotta see this in a video :)

Frenzy charges only might suit this character, I already have Enduring Cry to generate Endurance charges but no easy Frenzy charge source. Let's see how it works in practice, or if anything changes before release.

I imagine there aren't a lot of WoE users anyway, it was niche when it came out and is probably even less popular now. And Cleave and DS aren't that well regarded either. Not that I care, I use what I like, clear speed and cookie cutter and meta don't bother me much.
