Can you keep race rewards for next patch?

I was thinking if you could save all your winterheart season race rewards until ascendancy hits, then immediately start with those shiny items from the very beginning?

You can keep race rewards for future leagues. So yes you can have a Whispering Ice Alt-Art for Ascendancy.

However, the remove only reward tabs are not accessible in a league or event until said league/event is 4 weeks old. This is done so those who race are not at an advantage day one of a new league, but have access about the time a league's market starts to stabilize.
