Witch - Freezing Pulse + Arc, crit, life based, cheap, 68k dps - Forum

Hello. This post shows my Witch character currently at level 90, on Standard, version 2.1.

Cost
Right now I've invested about 4 exalts in it, but was cheaper before, I think 2 or 3 exalts could do.
(I'm playing solo and I am self found so all exalts I had were just drops or by selling some expensive unique drop items)

Gear comments
One wand has cost 1 exalt (the one with spell damage, cast speed and crit chance) rest was cheaper, I recommend maxing cast speed then spell damage then adding crit chance.
Next expensive was 6 link chest, bought cheapest 6L blue for 1ex, then alched and scoured few times until I got a nice life mod.
Tabula Rasa is a pretty good option too (and cheap, 20-30 chaos), I had it for long.
I need all blue sockets and I'm not using ES, so I don't get armour/evasion from chest, but have it maxed on other pieces and on belt.

Rest is just rare items focusing on max life and capping resistances. I think that most was below 20 chaos each piece.
I was using a shield with life and high evasion before but switched to dual wands for damage gain. I get now 68k tooltip dps on Freezing pulse and 29k on Arc, I think with 1 wand and shield it's about 45k and 21k.

6L chest: Freezing Pulse + Arc + Spell Echo + Faster Casting + Added Lightning Damage + Added Chaos Damage

Rest is rather optional:

3L: Lightning Warp + Faster Casting + Less Duration (for quick traveling)
3L: Molten Shell + Rejuvenation Totem + Increased Duration (ocasional use, bosses)
Vaal Cold Snap (dealing with boxes, freezing lots of enemies and fun)
3L: Cast when Damage Taken (level 8) + Storm Call (level 12) + Cold Snap (level 14)
3L: Cast when Damage Taken (level 9) + Molten Shell (level 14) + Bladefall (level 12) + Added Lightning Damage
Summon Flame Golem (for more damage)
2L: Blasphemy + Temporal Chains (or Elemental Weakness)
