Failed resetting Direct3D device objects.

So, I have been having this issue for a while. I get this error message unless I play the game in a certain resolution.
For example, if I launch the game with a monitor resolution of 1920x1080 I will get this error. If I launch the game in 1920x800 the game will run fine, no error. If I delete the production_config the game will launch in a small window with no error, but as soon as I maximize the window or go into options and select fullscreen or fullscreen window the error appears. I can play in 1920x800 but its not optimal. I ran the DirectX found in the redist folder inside the PoE folder as a possible fix but it did nothing. I dont know what other information would be helpful so please ask and I will answer. Edit: I'm trying to think aback to when this started happening. I think maybe it happened after installing Windows 10, had Windows 7 previously and I've been playing since forever and never had this happen to me before. Device reset happens when you change resolution with D3D9 (which POE uses).
- Could you try to change resolution in another D3D9 game (ie. a rather old one) to see if it happens there too? - Did you upgrade your graphic driver recently? If yes, can you try to rollback to previous one? or try to update to latest if you haven't done it since update to Win10. - How much video memory do you have on your gpu? - It may also be a symptom of a resource leak on engine side. All textures, meshes & other graphic resources strictly in gpu memory must be released before a device reset. That's something only GGG can investigate. Can you give me some examples of popular D3D9 games? I dont think I have one installed but maybe I can find one and install it.
I always upgrade my graphic driver to the latest, this happened before I upgraded though. My GPU has 6GB memory. EDIT: SOLVED! Okey, so the problem was pretty easily solved. I only had to go into production_config.ini and change height from 800 to 1080 and the game launched without error. Look at the value from my file, it seems it must hold the game max resolution in window mode, without the title bar. Ranger builds list: /917964
