Help updating JeanineDeBolle the arc + herald of ice witch

Hey everyone!

It's been a while since I played. Last time I played I saw all my skilltrees were reset with the 2.0 update. The update looks awesome! There's been times were I wanted to play for a bit but didn't have a character with an updated skill tree so I played something else. Now however I want to get my skilltree ready so I can play properly again :)

JeanineDeBolle is a lv66 witch and uses mainly Arc. The build was originally inspired by ZiggyD's 7 day arc witch. (video, spreadsheet)
I've created many (low-level) characters but this was the first time I used a pre-built build and it worked quite well. It ended up being my best and highest level character.
However I didn't entirely follow his plan and when I found a Herald of Ice gem I liked the combination so much I stuck with it. Then combined it with crit chance to get tons of explosions!

Enough dilly-dallying, lets get to the details!

Old setup:

This is a screenshot of my skilltree when I was lv64

And when I was 51 (not so useful)
Old skilltree

If anyone knows how I can find the stats of those nodes of the old tree, that would be cool.

The gems I'm using:
Gems

Arc - Lightning Penetration - Increased Critical Strikes - spell echo:
Arc being my main spell, spell echo currently comes from the unique wand Reverberation Rod. I noticed Increased Critical Strikes increases my dps more than a flat out Added Lightning Damage thanks to the Herald of Ice buff.

Lightning Warp - Faster Casting - Less duration:
For manoeuvrability.

Spell totem - Arc - Faster Casting - Item rarity:
This is useful in situations with many enemies and with bosses. I'm open for any suggestions here. I did use a skelly totem here, which was fun also.

Arctic Armour - Assassins Mark - Molten Shell - Enduring Cry:
AA is my main defence. With a molten shell or enduring cry before entering a crowded room or for bossfights. Assassins Mark is mainly used for the increase in crit chance. Which is a nice combination for the Herald Of Ice.

Herald Of Ice - Clarity - Discipline - Reduced Mana:
Herald Of Ice is pretty much what my build is about. I like it, that's enough reason to have it. Clarity and Discipline are for increased mana regen. Reduced Mana is pretty obvious.

Cast When Damage Taken - Immortal Call - Enduring Cry - Molten Shell - Increased Duration:
My build badly needed a CWDT, besides Immortal Call I didn't really know what to put in it so just threw in some gems I had lying around. I'm open for anything here.

This is the equipment I currently have

I don't have a lot of ingame currency. I was lucky to receive the better gear from someone else. I'm open for drastic changes but have limited resources.

A little surprise for those so nice to read this far.

And finally, JeanineDeBolle herself
Jeanine
Hey I bought something so might as well show off a little :)

Any help updating and improving JeanineDeBolle is greatly appreciated!
I'm still updating this post and will post a draft version as soon as I have one. But early help is welcome :)

Thanks and Happy Halloween!

New setup:

//TODO: make a draft skilltree!

Interesting gems:
Innervate: A very interesting gem I haven't played with yet! Seems like a perfect fit for a lightning build like this. Constant Onslaught buffs are welcome.
Summoned golems:
Ice Bite: Would this be useful? Frenzy charges do give increased cast speed and damage. Exploded enemies from Herald Of Ice count I suppose.
Frost wall: I've seen builds using Frost Wall on CWDT. That might be useful. Does arc go through the frost wall?

Other questions:
What about Jewels? (look useful: Assassin's Haste, Survival Secrets, Anatomical Knowledge)
Apparently the mechanics of Eldritch Battery changed with the 2.0 update. How will I have enough mana regen?
How to stay alive using this build?

I read Eldritch Battery changed it's mechanics in the 2.0 update. Now it works as a shield for mana instead of converting ES to mana. So as I understand it EB does not increase mana regen anymore like it did before.

This means I don't need EB in my new build, correct?
How will I be able to sustain Arctic Armour without the increase in mana regen? Will I need significantly better rings/amulet with mana regen? Did the skill tree compensate for this situation?

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any help!
Arctic Armour now reserves mana instead of consuming high amounts, it's also nerfed in 99% of situations since it doesn't give a flat damage reduction but a less multiplier..
Thanks SuperMotte, that's good to know.

So maybe I should omit AA and use ES for survivability?
It's hard to know how my character would react to these changes.

How do you suggest making sure the changes I've made are the right ones and my character will be playable?

Thanks for your input.
