skill gem rewards from vendor after you complete quests

In the awakening, GGG said the reason, that they added an option to buy certain gems from NPC after completing quest is to expand new players experience.

I personally dont understand, everyone can buy spell echo, multistrike and other big gems, but basic core skills are still limits to certain classes only. For example you cant buy flame totem with scion, you cant buy arc with scion, you cant buy assasin's mark with Templar, you cant buy summoner gems as Marauder or trap with Templar and so on.

Let's say it is new league start, and i want to level some build with certain class and certrain skills gems, so if my friends are offline or i am new player at all, it can be hard to obtain some certain gems for certain choices, since this move was already made to improve experience for new players, why not to add rest?

Is it possible to get any GGG update, explanation? Is this intented? or there is some plans in the future to add extra gems from vendors?

P.S. As a suggestion you can also add quest reward NPC gems with 1-4% quality. And from vendor with no quality if you want to still to feel something extra for playing choosen class.
3.15 was a joke. 3.19 was a disaster. Archnemesis/Ruthless/Crucible(Archnemesis 4.0?) - worst ideas. Ruthless is a joke, a waste of resources. PoE2(exilecon version) was super disappointing.

I liked Spell Echo and Multistrike having value. So at first I was pretty against the changes they put in place. But, now I feel things are actually in a pretty good place.

There are some gems that are harder to get. These ones are easy to sell. But generally, you have to admit things are a lot easier to obtain, and that generally, there is far less to complain about, if cheap and obtainable gems is your goal.

They could go further, but I'm perfectly happy with how things are. Gems drop all the time, are found on masters and as quest rewards. And generally sell for very low values, compared to previously.

Ofcourse they are easier to get, bet when it comes to a point when in a new league i personally choose class cause of gems choice at start, feels kinda bad isnt it? Only way is to ask friends, but if they didnt choose the right classes? And for start of the league, i dont want to spam trade chat and waste time, while other people level. The reason of this post was, if gems like multistrike and spell echo can be bought by all, why few gems still are limited to classes to buy.. why not make buy all, would be perfect experience and people would by high leveled or quality for market anyway, this wont hurt anything. Don't you agree?

I agree, the inconsistency is quite weird.

Many times i need a gem for an off-class build and i need to spam local chat/ask a friend or move to another one of my characters to obtain it.

I would much rather have them simply allow all gems for all classes and just leave it be. It's quite clear that currently the only value of gems are quality and pre-leveld ones(early league mostly) so i don't really see a downside in allowing all characters to have all gems access.

I like this change a lot though, no more stash tab sacrificed for regular gems <3
