Heatshiver - Elemental Hit - Which supports? (low level)

I'm leveling up a dualist on HC after my summoner died ( :( ), and would like some advice on support gems. I'm planning a Sword and Board + Life + IR build.

I started building my Duelist after finding Heatshiver, buying Crest of Perandus cheaply and finding out Heatshiver gives +2 to gems classified as both Fire and Cold. <-- Awesome! :D



I decided to use Elemental Hit because the other option was Discharge which doesn't look too good. (is it?)

Which support gems should I link up? I am planning to 4L it as soon as I have enough orbs.

And how long do you think I can continue using Heatshiver until a rare with good stats outweighs the +1/2 to gem levels and mana regen?

Cold+Fire Gems:
* Elemental Hit (static damage change)
* Elemental Proliferation (only radius changes)
* Cold to Fire (1%-2% damage conversion)
* Discharge (this doesn't seem good?)

Fire or Cold Supports:
* Added Cold Damage
* Added Fire Damage
* Fire Penetration
* Cold Penetration
* Chance to Ignite

Other Supports (...many...)

ele hit, faster attacks, weapon elemental damage, added fire damage.

Thanks :) Faster Attacks is a little way off but I'll have got a 4L round about the time I get it.

Do you think this setup will do me through Cruel?
