[2.0] Jaari's ULTRA-TANKY HYBRID Incinerator (HC Viable)
QUICK PEAK VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5Zv9UcpNAk This is a very tanky Templar that uses Incinerete as a main skill and makes the most out of his high amount of Armour. PROS: - very tanky, pretty much can't be killed by a group of monsters - can do almost every map mods, except elemental reflect - large life+es pool (in my case it's almost 8000) - good offence - it's a lot of fun! CONS: - pretty expensive - you actually have to use flasks (don't know if it's a con, but I know that some people doesn't like to use flasks all the time) MY GEAR: I’m using 2 Rumi’s Concoction flask’s. That gives me ability to run them all the time when I’m in the combat. Defence without Rumi's Concoction (no Endurance Charges):

Defence with Rumi's Concoction (no Endurance Charges):
Spoiler
Without flasks I have over 19 thousand armour, 37% chance to block attacks and 27% to block spells. With flasks I'm doubling amount of armour and I'm almost capping chances to block attacks and spells. The main unique that perfectly utilizes very high armour and block chance is Aegis Aurora. Basically what it does is when you block a hit, you get 4% of your armour as energy shield. So with my 39 thousand armour, I will get over 1500 Energy Shield every time I block with my 75% block chance. So basically I need to block 2 hits to get all my Energy Shield back. This is how it looks:
Spoiler
To get spell block, I'm using Stone of Lazhwar and Rainbowstrides. This gives me 72% of block chance applied to spells. For a chest I'm using 6-link Atziri's Splendour, but any chest with reasonable Armour and Energy Shield would work great as well. The rest of the gear is rolled to get as much armour as possible with some life, resists and attributes. For a weapon I'm currently using just an average sceptre. There is much possible improvement here. I'm using two Instant life flasks. One with immunity to freeze and another one with immunity to bleeding. I'm also using a Quicksilver flasks, just for a clear speed. And of course 2 Rumi's Concoction's. Jewels: You should be looking at jewels with Increased Max ES + Increased Max Life + Increased damage. And if you can afford a bit more expensive jewel, with 4 mods, you should be looking at another Increased damage mod. Incinerate: 5L: Incinerate + Blood Magic + Spell Echo + Lesser Multiple Projectiles + Fire Penetration 6L: Incinerate + Blood Magic + Spell Echo + Lesser Multiple Projectiles + Fire Penetration + Faster Casting EXPLANATION:
Spoiler
Blood Magic because auras that we use reserves almost 100% of our mana. Even if we wouldn’t reserve 100% of our mana, Incinerate is very mana hungry skill and we would be forced to invest heavily in mana regeneration which would be very costly.
Lesser Multiple Projectiles because we don’t need so wide spread of Incinerate that provides Greater Multiple Projectiles, unfortunately a single projectile would be too small to comfortably kill packs of monsters, so Lesser Multiple Projectiles is the best choice. Faster Casting because it’s simply better than lvl3 Empower. I was very shocked when I saw it but it’s true. If you can somehow afford to get lvl4 Empower then you should probably switch it with Faster Casting. Spell Echo and Fire Penetration are obvious choices. Auras: 4L: Determination + Discipline + Arctic Armour + Enlighten EXPLANATION:
Spoiler
The most important auras are Determination and Discipline. Arctic Armour is just a nice bonus. There are 2 ways to get all 3 auras running:
1) You need to invest in Mana Reservation in Passive Skill Tree 2) You need Enlighten on lvl4 to run all 3 auras. The best and cheapest way to achieve this is to get Enlighten on lvl3 and boots or gloves corrupted for +1 level to gems. It’s an expensive gear and if you can’t afford it, you should use the 1st way. Curses: 4L: Enfeeble + Flammability* + Increased Area of Effect + Cast When Damage Taken EXPLANATION:
Spoiler
We will be running our curses on lvl1 Cast When Damage Taken. That means that we can only use curses with max. lvl5. But that’s totally fine! Lvl5 Enfeeble gives 23% less damage when lvl20 gives 30%. That’s only 7% difference and we can totally forget about cursing enemies.
*The most important curse is Enfeeble. Flammability is just a bonus. To run 2 curses at the same time, we will need a corrupted amulet for +1 additional curse. In our case it will be a corrupted Stone of Lazhwar. It’s very hard to get but second curse is not required. Golem: 2L: Summon Chaos Golem + Cast When Damage Taken EXPLANATION:
Spoiler
Chaos Golem grants 4% Additional Physical Damage Reduction. Both of the gems should be at as high level as possible. Our golem will be up pretty much all the time, giving us basically additional Endurance Charge and slightly distracting our enemies.
Utilities: 4L: Vaal Immortal Call + Vaal Immortal Call + Vaal Discipline + Increased Duration 2L: Vaal Discipline + Increased Duration EXPLANATION:
Spoiler
We are running 2 copies of Vaal Immortal Call and 2 copies of Vaal Discipline. The idea is to get all souls before killing the hard map boss. 2 Vaal Immortal Calls gives us roughly 15 seconds of total immortality. Most bosses doesn’t deal that big amount of damage to actually be able to kill us. But there are some bosses, for example from Vaal Temple Map that can kill you if you are not lucky with block. Utilities should be used on the hardest content in the game, but don’t ever hesitate to use them if you feel that you’re in danger. To see how to use utilities properly, see point 2) in TIPS section.
Other gems: Enduring Cry, Lightning Warp EXPLANATION:
Spoiler
Enduring Cry is very important. You should always have all 6 Endurance Charges up. That grants us 24% additional Physical Damage Reduction. We also need charges to effectively use our Vaal Immortal Calls.
Lightning Warp is just great skill to get in some places a bit quicker than normally. The difference looks overwhelmingly when you look at it. Well, it’s not! We can easily overcome the downside of weaker Rumi’s Concoctions, changing just few points in the Passive Skill Tree. The difference between new and legacy Aegis Aurora is impossible to overcome. But is this that big of a deal? Click in the link below to find out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll2-qv8ezB8 As you can see the difference is not that big as it would seem on the paper. That’s because we have such high block chance that even with lower values of Energy Shield replenished, you’ll still be at maximum Energy Shield almost all the time. You might think that if you have legacy Aegis Aurora you can just cut half of your armour and the outcome will be the same as with the weaker Aegis Aurora with twice as much armour. Well, that’s not true! YES, you will get the same amount of Energy Shield every time you block in both cases, but what happens when monster gets through your block and you get hit by physical damage? That’s when Armour counts. Take it easy! Permanent leagues are supposed to be the leagues with the sickest items. If you are playing in the temporary league, just enjoy the build with the non-legacy items. You are not the only one that can’t get legacy items. And when the leagues ends and your character is transferred to Standard/Hardcore leagues you can just get legacy items and min-max the build totally. SKILL TREES: NEW LEAGUES:

Basically the defence mechanics of this build starts at tier 2. Tier 3 items are just nice upgrades. Don't take the tiers too seriously, it's just a brief look at what you should be looking for. THERE IS 1 MORE TIER:

78lvl SPRINGS MAP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nZ2bYJJyd4 QUICK PEAK VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5Zv9UcpNAk LEGACY VS NEW AEGIS AURORA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll2-qv8ezB8 1) When you are fightning with a boss, don’t kill the monsters that are surrounding him. Just focus on the boss. When you’ll be out of flasks, then kill the monsters and you should be able to use your flasks again. 2) You should have all vaal souls collected when you are fighting the boss. Use Vaal Immortal Call when you are out of flasks or in danger. A great way to use Vaal Discipline is to use it around 1 second before your Vaal Immortal Call effect is over. After using Vaal Immortal Call, you will have no endurance charges and probably will take more damage because of it. Vaal Discipline gives us additional defence when we need it the most.
